yes for sch. #40 and No for sch. #80

Would it work for pruning trees?

i do not think so. when cutting some pvc, if it has a difficult time it will slip so pruning something solid like small limbs with it more than likely give it the blues.

Will this cut a car windshield?

NO it is for pvc and cpvc type tubing
