Is the bag string enough to survive being checked luggage?

Yes, I'm a travel writer who travels frequently, and I've checked it at least 20 times already and still looks brand new.

Any other colors for the 24"?

I don’t know, but Amazon knows.

Can the 100L fit in the overhead bin?

No. Also this product is too low quality to fly with.
