Good introduction
Content is fairly standard for an introductory textbook. What I like most about the book is the authors' frequent use of analogies. From personal experience, teaching by well-chosen analogies is very effective.

Great Introduction to Weather
Great textbook if you’re trying to get into Meteorology. Good balance of text and pictures that keeps the reader engaged. I’m pursing a career in this field, and it’s a great book to get started with.

Covers all major topics of a high school or undergraduate meteorology course. It goes over all major types of weather phenomena and includes several algebra based equations to model weather.

Fantastic book worth every penny.
This book was required reading for my meteorology course at the University of Edinburgh. It’s quite an expensive book but entirely worth it, it covers everything you could and would ever need to know about the basics of meteorology. I wouldn’t have got a good grade without this book so cannot recommend it enough to a fellow student.

Bon livre pour débuter en météorologie
J’ai reçu le livre dans les délais prescrit. Condition neuve. Le livre est très bien structuré pour le lecteur. Des tableaux de conversions, des chartes atmosphériques, un glossaire complet et des centaines de figures avec description pour aider à mieux saisir l’information. Je recommande se livre au débutant en science de l’atmosphère. Plus descriptif que mathématique (peu de formules mais plus schématisé).
