Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, 6R Light Auburn | 3 Pack

I will never permanent color my hair again, it always turns a brassy blonde in no time, even though my hair is brown. Natural instincts made my hair soft, very evenly and deeply colored. I love the conditioner that comes with it and wish I could get a huge bottle of that alone! I would have preferred if the color was a bit more rust colored, it is a true Irish red. Also, at first, my hair looked like it was purpely beet colored but after a few days and 2 washes it settled down to a true red. My hair is medium brown naturally. It seems long lasting too! So glad there is a semi-permanent color out there as there are so few. That way if I choose to highlight my hair back to blonde, I can. This was a fun way to alleviate the boredom of lockdown in Covid-19 and no open hair salons.

Had a allergic reaction; I have used this product for 10 years. Lesson learned. No. More. Dye. Hello, gray!

I was disappointed because the color is much lighter than pictured on the box. Although zi have rec8several compliments. I would not purchase those color agagsin but it is easy to use a d .y hair comes out shiny and soft.

I've been using this color for many years, even through all of the formulation changes. The color has stayed the same, though I don't notice it being any better after changing the formula or packaging so many times. It doesn't cover much of my gray hair, but what I like about it is that it looks natural. I am not a go to the salon or even color my hair on a strict schedule kind of girl. I am busy, like most. So I like that this color gradually fades out so I don't have any noticeable roots. It doesn't fade too much, no one even notices the difference from the day I color my hair to 6 weeks later. Don't expect a vibrant red, just a natural look.

I have used this semi permanent hair color in Light Auburn for years now. It's quick and easy to apply and the color lasts a long time. Completely covers my grey. The conditioner they provide leaves my hair soft and shiney, I would like a big bottle of that stuff! The color is very natural looking too. The instructions say put it on dry hair but I wet my hair first. I have very long hair and the dry method just didn't work for me. I apply it in the shower and rinse it in there too. So easy!

The box said light auburn which is what I ordered. I noticed as I was applying it that the dye looked purple. I didn't remember that happening the last time I used this color but I thought maybe it slipped my mind. Nope. My hair came out a dark burgundy. I washed it several times with dandruff shampoo to remove the color but it had little affect. I'm not sure what dye was in that bottle but it was definitely not light auburn, maybe not even a demi permanent color.

Very easy to apply. My very muddy blondish hair had grown out a completely different color after losing 2/3 of it from an unknowingly highly deleterious product claiming to be ever so gentle and rejuvenating. . . . my daughter alerted me to the already $256 million paid in damages and to, of course, STOP using it. Took a full 2.5 years to grow back a healthy head of hair. In any case, I found this product to be exceptional, the color true to form with its deep auburn overtones and was a fun, conditioning experiment. But, as ALWAYS a natural blonde my entire life as are my children, I don’t really look familiar to myself and will likely make an attempt to return to something close to the person I once recognized in the mirror, when sleeping properly and consistently. BUT OVERALL, I highly recommend this product and as it is only temporary, and truly so gentle, a great way to try on a new presentation. You know women and their hair! We only have so much we can control. I truly didn’t even get it applied with absolute accuracy but it really did a fantastic job of overriding my slightly exhausted self as I went about it. VERY inexpensive considering the outcome and ease of use. Just be sure to have a less than favorite towel on your shoulders to keep off your skin although it has no ammonia or anything particularly damaging, just would very temporarily stain your skin. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY !!!

I love natural instincts cuz if I'm too poor or lazy to redo it I don't get roots! And it's gentle and the conditioner in it is awesome (hey Clairol, you should sell that separately!) That being said, and I realize all hair is different and no I didn't do a strand test, but I expected a more natural looking redhead color. I got BURGUNDY. At least for the first week or two. NOT what I was going for. So...beware...do the strand test.

Ce qui est un peu surprenant de cette coloration, c'est qu'en anglais, c'est écrit "auburn" et en français, c'est écrit "acajou". Et la photo, cela montre du "auburn". Pour moi, du auburn, cela devrait tirer sur le roux. J'ai les cheveux bruns très foncés et cela a sorti en acajou, donc plus rouge qu'orangé mettons. Je ne sais pas pour des cheveux plus pâles, mais pas sûre que vous aurez du auburn. Pour ma part, cela me va quand même. Sur la photo, c'est mon dessus, où j'ai plus de cheveux blancs, donc on voit très bien que c'est acajou.

the product colour was great. fades on ends faster and colour fades faster than 30 washes. Great way to try or correct colour temporarily

I don’t know if it is me of the product but…this stuff has gotten noticeably worse with time. Colour, even when carefully applied and times comes out patchy and inconsistent. I won’t be repurchasing.
