Very Good Phone AND Best After sales service
I had bought this 4 months back for my mom. A very good phone,Pros:1. "White color" for Easy visibility,2. "Big Dial keypad" for easy visibility,3. "Voice over Key Pad" so that elders know what number they are pressing,4. "SOS" Button in back in case of emergency,5. "Reminders" for medicine,6. "Cradle Charger" so NO fiddling with small charger pins and No wrong side insert of USB charger pin.7. Good Sound for easy CallingCons: Maybe give a display slot in the back for writing the mobile number. Elders will easily find the number.Very Good After sales Service: I had a display issue with the phone. I was feeling bad that a issue had cropped within 4 months but the service standard really amazed me... ****** for service.I had emailed my issue to [email protected]. The Senior world team ([email protected]) responded first thing the next morning, they arranged "home pickup" and collected up my phone from my house by Blue dart. They efficiently Serviced the mobile and sent back the phone completely repaired.More important: Every step of the service process they kept me updated with email and follow up.I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend them in future.

Useless product promoted as "Useful"
Pros:1. The headphones are loud and useful for the seniors who needs more decibels to hear/listen.2. The SOS button really helps well.Cons:1. The build quality is pathetic. The dialpad is easily breakable. I received a phone in which the dialpad is already broken. (I replaced the product but that one had another issue with the battery and earphone)2. Battery backup is not upto the mark. It lasted for 5-6hrs. Did 4 calls of 20mins avg.3. Its Bilingual. English and Hindi. Not much of use for other language people.I received a used product with hair follicles in the earphones (I did returned it the 2nd time after this issue) the photo is a proof of that.In short, its a hyped product which dont deserve appreciation for the concept due to its low build quality, restricted use and pathetic service.

The phone frustrates on many counts but the company does listen.
Update: Despite following up, the refund on the price difference between Grand and Elite hasn't arrived. The company managers listen only when it suits them. After this review was published, I was happy to get a call from Senior World where the Sales Manager heard me out and sent me the Elite model to try for a few days. After 4 days of use, my father finds Elite helping him more. Because of its conventional first name search, he is able to find names in the Phonebook. Plus, he finds its sound louder than the Grand. Elite has a single sim as opposed to Grand being a dual sim. It doesn't come with an earphone to amplify the sound but it works for my father and I'm happy for him.I've suggested to the Sales Manager to:i) provide a comparative chart of all the phone models on their website;ii) post youtube videos of their available models to describe their features;iii) make elder-friendly icons as the Phonebook icon on the Grand was difficult for him to follow.iv) increase the size of the phone instrument so an elder can hold and locate it easily. The manager accepted the suggestions graciously and has offered to reimburse the balance amount refundable on Grand's return........................................................................Earlier feedback:I was hopeful of solving some of my father's problems with his feature phones when I bought the Grand. He is wheelchair-bound and has limited use of his left hand. He wasn't able to read sms'es as the font in his 3 feature phones was too small for him.On my 2 calls to easyfone cust care, I was advised to buy Grand after the tech execs heard me out. On the 3rd call after its purchase, they couldn't help but raise their hands. The biggest insecurity for my father has been the phone's awkward access to the Phonebook or contact list. It takes him the press of 2 keys to reach it and then the tiny screen is filled with a large search field so scrolling down to scan the contact list gets difficult. He doesn't quite see that typing of characters eventually takes him to a name. I wasn't able to use Bluetooth to transfer the tiniest of thumbnail photos that I had to create (had to be under 15 kb) of ONLY 8 photo contacts that the phone allows. Nor was I able to upload photos remotely using the Care Touch feature. I did what the tech exec had advised me to do as a recourse: Click the photos using Grand's camera. The camera is so low res that real time photos looked dark and barely recognisable so I clicked 8 photos while they were on my own smartphone's screen. Of course the phone's memory was full with just 10 photo thumbails so 2 had to be removed in order to change one of the photos. Basically, this little phone has a fussy menu transition and non-intuitive interface for an elderly person. Most of all, its Quickmenu allowed one of the 3 useless options to be set for it but not the Phonebook. The earphone does amplify the voices in the room. It's just that my father is refusing to use the earphone as he worries about his hearing going from bad to worse with amplified sound. The phone hasn't helped my father after some weeks of ownership. The keypad numbers and screen font are visible...a good thing...but the screen is tiny and the menu transition too difficult for my father to remember.

The Display screen of the phone has turned blank, rendering it unusable within 9 months
The phone is good and is a good bet for senior citizens but the display screen does not last long. In my case it is non functional within 9 months in the warranty period.

Get a branded feature phone instead
I got this for my grandma after she had trouble seeing small numbers in the nokia phone and had troubles with less volume. However the only thing good about this is the large numbers. Speakers are not good. No clarity at all compared to nokia. Build quality is absolutely pathetic. It seems the phone will break after 2 drops. The keypad plastic moves a lot. In short, the only senior friendly feature that works is the big numbers. I would advice against this purchase and get a normal phone from a reputed manufacturer.
