This is such a simple but genius little tool and a total diaper bag must-have. It makes applying diaper cream quick, even, and mess-free without getting product all over your hands. When I added this to my registry I was unsure if it was actually needed. People definitely questioned why I had a butt spatula on there. However, this is one of the most used items off my registry. The convenience to be able to scoop some aquaphor out of its container & lather it across my baby’s butt without having to use my finger is so nice. So I thought I would be one of those moms who would just use their finger when applying ointment on my baby's behind, however, I have a texture issue. Also, as a microbiology scientist, touching my baby's tush and not being able to wash my hands immediately after just means I'll be spreading germs to everything I touch after applying the ointment. It's not something I ever thought through until I started changing diapers regularly and applying A&D ointment during poopy diaper changes. This little spatula is way more hygienic than using your finger. I apply a little ointment and the spatula helps smooth it over all the necessary areas without getting my fingers dirty or greasy. So in case you missed some fecal matter in a crevice, you won't be transferring it on to your hands. Also once you're finished applying ointment, you just set it to the side where it can stand up by itself not touching your furniture, and continue putting your baby's diaper on them with clean hands. Really great and convenient tool. I bought two, one for the house, and another for my baby's diaper bag for on the go. Happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend this item for your baby registry!

Love this! Great size, flexible, does the job well. Is shaped correctly to both lay down the cream and wipe it back off if you do too much. Easy to clean, too. Helps everyone feel more comfortable changing a diaper, too, if that's an issue.

I am comparing this to the full size Bum wand which I love. I enjoy that this one is short and a bit more compact for on the go. My little guy has turned out to have some extreme allergies as we have been introducing solids and ends up with a blistered, painful rash too quickly. This wand is a bit stiffer than the flexible end of the full size counterpart. He always complains when I attempt to use this wand because it doesn’t flex and puts too much pressure on the rash. I also was really glad to see this one had a case for the diaper bag. However the case doesn’t stay together very well and is generally found in three separate pieces at the bottom of the bag. This wand certainly works for keeping your hands clean and not having to scrub sticky, water resistant past from your hands in public bathrooms BUT there are better options.

This is my favourite baby item i purchased. EVER. Have you ever had Sudo cream on your fingers? It feels disgusting, i can't stand it. I have used this every single day, multiple times a day, for the past 10 months. I love it so much. I have bought spares for the nappy bag so i am never without it. And will gift it to anyone i know having a baby.

great quality item and like fact it has its own case. more expensive than others but feel you can tell the difference - whether affections functionality I doubt it. suction head for stand is super handy so dont have nappy cream all over whatever area changing is occurring in. Ability to apply thin even layer and not get cream all over your fingers is fab
