Yet again Rankine has done a wonderful job by bringing previously unavailable material into the accessible realm, David has not just published one manuscript, but has included all available manuscripts, making this the most complete edition of this famous grimoire thus printed, this is a book for the practising magician, the armchair critic should stick to his local library, all of David Rankine s books are of a very high standard and I cannot recommend them enough, especially for the practising magus.

64$ is way too expensive and not worth for a print on demand book.With all respect to Rankine, I have just go through all pages, editing seems okay, graphics not always perfect, some very pale... just the feel of the pages you can tell its a POD book, and thus, asking a high premium is a no go...!I understand that POD is a great way for author to publish with ease...but hey, for an about 10$ to print book, the entrance ticket is definitely overpriced.I will now always stay away from Avalonia books.Quality is just not there.
