Perfect for Keeping Internet Running During Outages
This has worked exactly as we hoped. We bought it to keep our internet running during power outages, and it recently proved itself during a brief power outage. The battery backup kicked in immediately, and our modem and router stayed powered without any interruption. It was easy to set up, has a compact design, and gives us great peace of mind knowing we won’t lose our internet every time the power flickers. If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable battery backup for your home network, I highly recommend the CyberPower ST425.

Perfect for keeping the Internet on
Wanted this to keep my router and modem on during power outages and worked great! My TV however still shut off, but I think it's due to it being cheap and doesn't have a good power supply. However my main concern was my internet staying on. I've seen some reviews about people using this for a PC and it not working. Well, this shouldn't be used for that, you need a more powerful UPS. This item is great for smaller things such as a router or a modem, maybe a small fan. I definitely recommend this!

Keep your Internet alive long enough to sace your work
Supplies enough power for Fiber internet, or Bee link computer Gives you time to save your files and shut down properly. May need a larger unit for flat screen TV. Power surge or Brown out can kill a Roku TV fast. I live 400 feet from a substation. When the breakers open and close, it sounds like a 12 gunge shotgun going off.

Pretty good UPS
Works pretty good once you figure out how to stop it from beeping regularly while the power is off. I'd advize looking that up BEFORE the power goes out in the middle of the night, unlike what I did.

Worth it for private home usage on a few critical devices
Had this a few months now and no issue. It's small and compact so it saves on space. The design is pretty nifty as well. It's not at all heavy so if you pay for shipment by lbs you won't be breaking the bank. It delivers consistent power to the ports, just don't overload it. I have my desktop and modem plugged into it so whenever the power goes I still have a few minutes to save and shutdown my work. This is essential since I'm a software developer who works from home.

works as intended!
purchased this to keep my wifi router from going out during brownouts. it's summertime and power always seems to take hits. So I installed this device so my router would not reboot every time there is a power blip and the lights flicker. Happy to report , it happened yesterday and it took the hit perfectly... clock on the microwave had to be reset, but we never lost internet and i was able to continue to work. I WFH. easy to setup, small enough to conceal behind the tv, enough outlets for the router and switch and wifi box.. perfectly happy with purchase!

0% success rate on all three I purchased. buyer beware.
I've purchased three of these now, and none of them support even the tiniest load for even a second when the power goes out. I moved into a new old house about a year ago and set up a bunch of electronics. After much research and reading reviews I decided since I need three of these in different parts of the house, I'd get the load needed with a little buffer room to save money. The one in the south end of the house runs nothing but a 1w radio and a 30w fan. The one in my tech closet runs half a dozen small electronics and my home assistant pc. The one in my office should run my home pc, monitors and a few small electronics on a shelf. None more than half the 425 load these should be able to carry. The electricity here hasn't gone out permanently in the year since I moved in, but it has flashed off for more than a minute a few dozen times. First time I used the first unit, it didn't work. Power flashed off and the pc instantly shut down, alarm sounding on the UPS. I took out the battery to make sure it's connected and charged up, all looks great. Next time the power flashed, everything died again. By this point I'd already ordered two more, so now everything in my house that I need to stay running, only for a minute or two, shuts off even when properly plugged into the battery backup side of the ups. Frustrating. These are the cheaper option, but it's still a lot of money for three things probably out of the return window now, that haven't worked once since day one. Spend the money on the better brand, buy once cry once. Now I have to do that too, but I've already wasted the money on these too so cry twice I guess.

Will prevent your computer from being destroyed by power surges.
Works great, but will start beeping after about 30 seconds of the power going out until you turn off everything plugged into it. This will keep your electronics from being fried due to power rapidly turning off and then back on, especially your computer.

Good surge protector for the price; not a good backup battery.
While it doesn't have as many plug ports as I would like, and it isn't as good as my old surge protector, this does what I need it to do--which is protecting my computer from getting fried by the frequent power surges I experience in my workspace. If you're looking for a cheap surge protector, I would recommend this. As a backup battery? Eh--its not that great. My old surge protector/back up battery which died on me last year would keep my monitor on and have enough power to keep running my computer for ~30 minutes. This backup battery definitely doesn't hold 30 minutes of power and it doesn't keep my monitor running(it is plugged into the surge protector) during a power outage, which basically means that its useless as a backup battery. That said--I purchased it mainly for its power surge protection, so in that respect it's working fine so that's why I am still giving it 4 stars instead of a lesser rating.

Hope to never need it but it's always good to be prepared with this high-quality UPS.
Got this because I had a great experience with its bigger sibling, the ST625. This unit lacks the USB ports but it's not needed in my case because it will only need to power my miniPC router and switch for a few minutes. I just need enough time to battery power down the router in case of a power outage and this is a perfect UPS for this purpose.

Utile
Utile lors de panne d'électricité. Moi j'ai branché mon routeur, donc permet de garder l'internet dans la maison durant la panne.
