Luigi Bormioli Set of 4 Michelangelo Masterpiece 16.25-Oz. Wine Glasses

Don't burden yourself with expensive crystal. It's fragile, expensive to replace, doesn't go in the dishwasher, and you end up using it only for display. Don't buy cheap glasses that are also fragile and can't be replaced at all because the manufacture isn't known or isn't around anymore. Instead, these glasses are fairly strong (strong enough to go in the dishwasher but not indestructible of course), reasonably priced, and the brand and style will be around in future if you need to expand your collection or replace the occasional breakage.

I love my Bormioli Michaelangelo crystal. It is strong and elegant, yet inexpensive enough to use every day. I have my Reidel when I want to feel fancy, and my Biormioli for every day. I have many pieces od the Michaelangelo series, and it is great to be able to have real crystal you can use every day.

It's clearly labeled that each glass holds 16.5 fluid ounces.... That's an entire can of beverage and more these elegant ladies can hold! A great buy to minimize trips back to the kitchen, but be aware they are 9" tall and can make a bold presence on your table. Drink up!

Excellent glasses. Had my first four for 5-6 years. Love the thicker stem so they are leas likely to break.

Sturdy enough for everyday use, but elegant enough for semi-formal place settings. Have had another set of these for years and was happy to find them at Amazon. Love Luigi Bormioli !

Beautiful but received a broken one

We hoped these would match nicely with our 10 year old Luigi Bormioli wine glasses, which we had in white and red wine shapes, since we've been slowly losing the white ones to dishwashing accidents etc. These match almost exactly the shape of the white wine glasses perfectly, but are not the same glass, they are a large multipurpose wine glass. Would love them more if they weren't so huge, but on the other hand it does say the size right there in the item description...
