These are great exercise tools for serious athletes
My husband is a former NFL football player and I am a former Division I college basketball player. Working out is still an important part of our lives as we age and we seek the highest quality exercise tools. My husband's physical therapist wanted him to do more balance work so we bought 3 regular round balance pads and then also bought two of these more expensive doughnut-shaped balance discs. While we use all 5 items, the doughnut discs are our clear favorites. We use them for sitting on chairs to improve balance. We use them under our elbows when we do planks. We use them for squat balances. They are made of a heavier material than standard balance rounds and that makes them more supportive. Also we like the doughnut shape as it is good for gripping and more comfortable for sitting. We believe the Smart Body Leverage Disc is worth the extra cost and we recommend them to others looking for high-quality equipment.

Good for balance training
I use these discs for balance training and they work pretty well. You can adjust the difficulty by inflating/deflating the disc, which was very helpful in the beginning. The quality is pretty good, I think it will serve for quite a while. Would definitely recommend.
