Expensive but definitely works!!
UPDATE - July 22, 2019 - the unit continues to impress with continual boost. If anything, the boost has improved on some days (making me think that environment is impacting the cell signal). Regardless, I continue to be impressed with not only the product, but with Sina and the team at the Repeater Store. BTW, had to add that Sina is not just a sales person - Sina is the CEO!! Imagine that, the CEO of a company that took time on a holiday to ensure that I had the best customer service possible!! Definitely a five star company supporting a five star product. Original Post - Make no mistake, this set up is not cheap at $900!! That said I can say without any hesitation, this sucker WORKS! I have a house in a rural area on a lake. At best, I’d get two bars and 4G. Most times, it was a single bar - and even then, there were days when I would lose signal and have data lag or no data at all on my AT&T iPhone. Couldn’t even hotspot to my iPad. AT&T signal simply sucked due to lack of coverage (inside or outside). I purchased the GO-X because of other positive reviews and after discussing by text the needs I had with a salesman (Ray Martinez). Ray had me check out cell signals using the iPhone Field Test mode while I stood on the roof of my lake house. He recommended the unit I purchased due to poor external signal. I ended up installing on July 4th spending about two hours on the roof installing the pole (included with the kit) and mounting the directional antenna to that pole (instructions were not great, but I like to think I’m fairly mechanically inclined so figured it out). I knew where the nearest cell toward was so pointed the directional antenna in that general direction. I then ran the cable down the side of the roof, down towards the deck and through a first floor window to test. After connecting the antenna to the GO-X unit, then connecting the internal antenna, I fired it up. I had to download the GO-X app and wait for the software to update. Not a biggie. Then the GO-X did its thing and after a few minutes, found the cell towards and started boosting signal. BAM - what a difference!! I went from one to two bars with 4G to a full 4 bars with LTE. More importantly, data speeds were not only reliable, but super quick. I streamed Netflix and Amazon Prime video through my cell phone into my iPad (through hot spotting). No lags, buffering, or hesitation. The APP showed 3 to 4 (out of 5) bars of network strength and a boost of 7 (green) to the internal antenna. I then spent the next 3 to 4 hours making the install permanent, including running the cable from the external antenna to the house along some siding down to the deck and then punching through the siding, plywood sheathing and into the drywall where I ran it to the unit. I mounted the GO-X unit below a window (hidden by some curtains) and hooked the internal antenna with a wire running up the side of the window (again, hidden by a curtain). I mounted the internal panel antenna to the wall above the window where it has the best shot at broadcasting throughout the rest of the house. I did have an issue with the internal cable run as the kit has two 30’ RS400 cables. The first 30’ cable was fine to run from the roof of a two story house, down the side and into the great room. The second was way too long for the run from the GO-X unit to the internal antenna. I pinged customer support to see if they could do a trade-in for a shorter cable. No luck there, but the salesperson graciously gave me a coupon that was good for a 5’ cable. All I had to pay was shipping ($13.44). Sina was great in making sure I had the right size cable and then sending me the coupon for 100% off of the cable - with shipping costs only. I am really happy with this product. Yes, it took me nearly the entire day to install, but is well worthwhile. I am typing this review on my iPad hotspotted to my iPhone that is getting full bars and LTE thanks to this product. Bottom line - it works and the customer service has been awesome. I’m glad I invested the $900 to get the best booster out there.

It Works!!!!
We live in the country with our house half way down the hill, large shad trees around the house, and a metal roof. Not great for cell service is a understatement. For the longest time we could not get cell service in the house at all with any carrier. Att extended their service (which is weird because we live in Verizon country everyone has Verizon) and we were able to get cell service with a Samsung S9. We cancelled our WiFi and landline with Centurylink . Most of the time was worthless. We were very happy until mid May of 2020. Our service with Cricket became terrible. Calls were fine but data most of the time was more like dial up internet. We started researching cell boosters. We had tried Weboost before and felt like the boost wasn’t worth the $400.00. We looked at internet service. Centurylink could not serve us as too many connections in the area. The only company in our area without a contract and would cost $100.00 per month. We looked at that and thought $1000.00 for Cel if go x was a much better option. It would pay for itself in 10 months vs the internet at $100 per month for forever. We seriously looked into it and contacted Waveform several times. They instructed us to take readings and based off those readings Would recommend the best booster for us. Our reading were -108 to -98 at best. They said our only option was the Cel fi go x. We purchased it though Amazon because the kits on there had two inside antennas and with a 2 story house we thought we many need the second antenna. We received the booster and started installing it on 4th of July weekend. After working with my husband for an hour finding the best place I wanted to pack it in. We persisted and found the sweet spot. It took a whole day to install it with my 70 year old husband on a extension ladder up to the second floor up and down may times and crawling around the attic in the heat of the summer we got it installed. We have only one antenna installed on the second story ing the middle of the house and works in the basement, outside around the house, main floor and upstairs. We get full bars on Samsung S9 and iPhone 10xr. I just checked the numbers this morning our numbers were -75 to -78 what a difference. Our cell service is great most of the time unless Cricket has issues for a few moments or should I say ATT cuts back Cricket. It was a lot of work to get this installed but most things in life that are worth it are. Great product and great service from Waveform. If you live were the signal is iffy don’t hesitate to buy this booster it works and it worth the time and energy to install it. August 2025 Still working great!

This is a great system that works backed by people that care about their customer
I looked at several systems before purchasing this one. I had purchased a WEBOOST however it was not able to pick up and amplify the AT&T mobile signal. I looked again and saw this unit. The reviews were good and from all I saw it would do what I needed. What struck me is that it will/can go out miles to pick up a signal and living in the hills surrounded by a forest I needed a system that could pull in a weak signal and boost it up. When the unit arrives what I noticed is how well it was packaged – everything was in its own box or sealed bag. The cables were huge – at least twice the size of coaxial cable in my house. The directions were very good and the system was easy to put together. The software made it very easy to find the cell tower that would give me the best signal and switching between carriers is/was a breeze. I had a question and texted the company and heard back in less than 5 minutes. My technician also had a question, and he was texted back as quickly as well This system is not cheap – but it is worth every penny I paid for it. Customer service is great. I have been texted back twice to make sure my system is working as it should, along with “reach out to us anytime if you have a question or comment”. The thing I like about this company is that they mean what they say and have shown that they stand behind their equipment. I highly recommend this product. Works great out of the box and there are people behind it that care about what they sell and are there to assist the customers that purchases it.

Great Product - Well Worth It
Short answer - if you’re on the fence regarding this product - go for it. You have nothing to lose, except maybe your pricey monthly internet bill. Long answer - we bought our home “up the holler” in 2009. We moved here permanently in June 2019. We have ZERO cell phone service, unless you hop on an ATV and drive 3/4 mile up a dirt road to the top of a mountain. There, you might be lucky to have 2 bars. If you’re really fortunate, you can check your email and social media while checking over your shoulder for bears, coyotes, or the occasional bobcat. For years prior to our move, we researched internet providers only to discover there are two options for service here and both are satellite internet companies. For simplicity’s sake, we’ll call them Company H and Company V. Both offer maddeningly slow, barely usable internet service at exorbitant prices. We chose Company V. For over $200 a month, we receive “Unlimited Data” which is throttled after 65GB. That is, when we can use it at all. Forget streaming ANYTHING. We kept searching for alternatives. After handing well over $3000 to Company V over the course of 1.5 years, we decided to take a chance with the Cel-Fi GO X, or Sophie, as we now call it (her)? Within minutes of downloading the WAVE app, we got a message from GO-X Expert Ian, offering assistance, if needed. Antenna placement took awhile. Don’t rush it. Our teenager spent a good bit of time on the porch roof until the positioning was correct, but this was facilitated by the WAVE app. We went from Zero bars; I mean not one bit of service to 3-4 CONSISTENT bars of 4G all over our 2 story 2000 sq. ft. farmhouse. Speeds are fast. No more timing out before a page loads. We can now make and receive phone calls on our cell phones. Texting? No problem. Even pictures send quickly. The three of us can be on our phones while streaming a movie with no issue; no buffering. Amazing! We are using the indoor dome antenna, centrally located on the first floor ceiling. We thought the days of streaming tv were over when we moved from civilization to the semi-wilderness. It sounds cliche, but I wish we had found and purchased the Cel-Fi GO X sooner. Yes, it is costly, but it will pay for itself in a few months, once we ditch satellite internet. -If you’re thinking of purchasing this booster, go for it. Totally worth it and if it doesn’t work out for you, you can return it. -Read the instruction booklet first. -Download the WAVE app. It is indispensable for antenna positioning. No second-guessing. -Be patient. The installation takes time. -Contact the Waveform Tech Experts if you need to. We didn’t use them, but it’s reassuring to know they’re on standby, ready to help. High Five 🙌🏼 Cel-Fi GO

May not function correctly if you are served by more than 1 Base-station (bands 12 and 2)
First off the kit of parts and the support is very good. This booster only amplifies 2 signals at a time. In my area that was AT&T Band 2 and 12, Bands 30, 66 that are in heavy use in my area are not supported. I did a large amount of tests with different bands, high gain Yagis (700MHz and 1.9GHz) and broadband Log Periodic antenna on the roof and ground level. Verified all operations with a spectrum analyzer and iPhone signal strength diagnostic screen ( dial *3001#12345#* showing RSSI, SINR and Neighbor Cell List (NCL) and bottom line it was not possible to have this booster function correctly in my location on either band 2 or 12 ( I am served by a group of base-stations 1 mile away). Here is my observations, reasoning and conclusions. Band 12 (700MHz) - AT&T reserves this for use for very weak coverage at cell edge and in buildings. No matter how strong the booster makes the band 12 signal, IF there are other bands (like 66/30) being selected by the base-station and sent to your phone, even IF at low level, the Band 12 signal doesn't show up in the neighbor list and so the iPhone won't handover to it. Only when all the other signals are basically too low level to make a connection will the phone select band 12 (This is easily observed by driving to the edge of the cell and watching the neighbor list until it is almost empty, then bingo the band 12 signal appears and the phone hands over to it) So, if you are on the edge of the Cell and all your phones see is Band 12, then this is a great solution. Band 2 (1900MHz) - I mounted a 17dBi high gain Yagi on my rooftop and precisely pointed it at a Band 2 (only) base-station 1.2 miles away and got a very good donor signal (-51dBm), however, with the phone placed right next to the indoor antenna the phone selected band 2, but as soon as I moved away a few feet, the signals on bands 66/30 in the neighbor cell list which were 15dB weaker were selected by the iPhone. Clearly the phone is not selecting the strongest signal but is selecting other bands for other reasons. I believe this may be due to a technique called carrier aggregation where each basestation can provide a signal to the phone to provide 2 separate channels to support high link speeds. It's plausible that because the booster is providing a strong signal on Band 2, and bands 30/66 are much weaker this somehow affects the correct functioning of carrier aggregation. Whatever the reason it plainly doesn't work if there are other signal in other bands that the iphone can use. So on this channel, if you are in a location with other bands in operation this booster may not work for you either. I didn't try the other bands of this booster (since coverage in my area is only AT&T bands 30, 66, 2 and 12), so for other channels this may work for you , and operation on Verizon may be completely different. It's important to note that this booster is operating exactly as described. The problem is how the base-station(s) is (are) determining which BS frequency to let your phone connect to (the neighbor cell list) - that's a cellular network management issue which you cannot do much about and is done to improve capacity and call reliability. I sent my notes to Nextivity and Waveform, but to date I did not get an answer about how the booster operates with carrier aggregation and any other handover rules that the network uses. Other solutions to a getting an indoor signal are switching on Wi-Fi calling or getting an AT&T booster (actually a femtocell).

This will get you useable signal in remote areas
I have had this for more than a year now This booster is the only one that would work for my particular scenario. I live about 4 miles from the nearest tower and barely got one bar of service. Calls would drop and data was maybe 1mb up or down. I was fine with the one carrier limitation since we all use Verizon. After the booster I was able to get up to 4 bars and data speed of 20 mb average down and 2 up. I went an extra step and got a parabolic antenna and it pushed me up even higher to 40 mb down and 6 mb up. No dropped calls and good call quality. I had tried another booster from a different brand previously and it was not able to provide any kind of improvement. This booster is much much more powerful. So the key thing is that for me the real issue is distance. I am just far away from the tower, I am relatively unobstructed (a few trees is all). For this reason I really needed the extra power. For some the problem is a metal roof or some other obstruction. In those cases you may be able to get away with less boosting or a different style of antenna. I attached the antenna high up on the outside wall of my house below the roofline. I ran the cords through the attic and have the booster box in a closet upstairs. For those struggling to figure out how to do the inside antennas. I decided to use all directional antennas and place them in the attic against the ceiling drywall beneath the insulation. My wife is very against any gadgets being visible so poking them through the ceiling was not an option. Using 3 directional antennas in the attic I am able get very good coverage in the house. Even in the basement I still get two bars. My house is 3000 sq feet with two floors and a full basement. Notes on yagi vs parabolic antenna. Yagi is good if you are not too far away and you want to just generally point toward a cluster of towers. This will allow you to boost from anything coming in a generally 45 degree cone of direction. Parabolic is for people like me who know exactly which tower they want to hit and they are a far distance from it. In my case I can actually see the tower between a couple of trees. The downside is that you have to be pretty dead on with your aim for the parabolic antenna, which makes it hard to set up. Yagi is much more forgiving, but doesn’t reach as far.

Great booster for a single carrier
Unlike most boosters on the market, this booster can only be used on one carrier's frequencies at a time. You can specify which carrier easily though. Restricting the frequency bands allowed Waveform to increase the amplification of the signal to the maximum allowed by the FCC. If thinking of purchasing this device, take advantage of the companies tech support at waveform.com. The will give you guidance on testing your current signal strength and make the determination if you have the signal strength and quality required to successfully use this booster. After the purchase if you send a text to the number in the instruction manual you'll get a link to the software needed to setup the device. As a plus, tech support will reach out to you and offer to help with the installation. Highly recommended that you interact with them to make the process easier and successful. Installation isn't technically difficult, but finding the correct location for the antenna and mounting may add some challenges. You need some basic construction skills to climb ladders, probably drill holes into the house and run cables. I had enough single strength and quality to mount the antenna in my attic, but the typical installation is outside along a roof line. The quality of everything in the kit was excellent. The kit comes with RS400 cable vs the RG11 cable provided with most boosters. This cable has less signal loss, but it a little harder to work with because of its thickness and stiffness. It is a more expensive cable. The kit also comes with two inside antennas; a flat panel antenna and a dome antenna. This gives you the opportunity to experiment and determine which one works best for your situation. Even though two antennas are provided, there's only enough parts to install one. You can utilize the second antenna if you purchase an additional splitter and possibly some cables. Tech support is more than helpful in this respect and will prepare a cart with the necessary parts including a discount. Now the important part, performance. For me I went from 1 or 2 bars on my phone to 5 bars in the areas covered by the indoor antennas. Although the number of bars isn't the ultimate parameter to determine performance, if you're using the same device it does at least indicate improvement. I was more concerned about data speeds and used an internet speed test to test that parameter. There is more than booster performance at play here since you are still limited by the carrier and their infrastructure. I averaged about a 50% better download speed and a phenomenal increase in upload speeds. I went from less than 1 Mbps to 12 to 15 Mbps on upload speed. Since my home internet is through the cellular network, this is significant. I was using VOIP for my phone and prior to this booster is was almost unusable. Now, my VOIP calls are good as they were with the landline for the most part. Bottom line is that I'm happy with the product. I may have gotten away with a less expensive booster, but in my experience, it's always works out better to start with the best you can afford. Waveform also gives you 90 days to determine if this was the answer for you. Take advantage of their excellent tech support before and after the purchase! My experience with tech support was via text messages. There is an inherent delay in responses, but they are reasonable delays and they always got back to me.

Improves cell signal drastically!!
We recently finished a 1500 sq. ft. outbuilding on our remote wooded homestead. It is an all steel building with a concrete floor. We have Verizon cellular service. Outside the building and in the house we get 2 bars. It is good enough to text, make calls and watch videos. Inside our new building we had no service. None, zip, nada. You could not even send a text. Half of this building is our new gym. The other half is my wife’s she-shed/shop for her side business. Suffice it to say, no cell. service wasn’t cutting it. We ordered this product in hope of correcting that issue. I read the manual thoroughly and downloaded the app. We researched the location of the one cell. tower in our area ahead of time so we had a good idea of where to hunt for the signal. We set the unit up as a signal finder. Using the app., we ran an antenna test. Our first reading was 120.49. We took numerous other readings ranging from 115-124.94. We did a temporary mount of the antenna and ran the cable through a window to the unit inside and then to the wall antenna. Went inside the building and BAM!! All the bars for Verizon LTE service were up on the phone. Did test texts, calls and data checks and all worked perfectly and fast. We then went about digging in a 4x4 post into the ground along side of the building, mounting the antenna to it. We ran the 5ft. cable from the antenna to the lightning surge protector and connected it to the 30 ft. cable. Using a keyhole saw we drilled a hole in the side of the building and ran the cable inside the building near floor level. We sunk a grounding rod, secured the grounding wire from the lightening surge protector and then to the grounding rod. Taped all connections with self adhering silicone tape. Inside the building I mounted the unit on one of the walls to the cabinet that houses our in floor heating manifolds and pumps. Attached the 30 ft. cable to the unit. Secured the cable along the floor, which is black rubber mats, so the cable blends in perfectly. I then ran the other cable in the same manner from the unit to the flat wall antenna, which is wall mounted just above our sauna. Works perfect!!! Start to finish, including clean up, took 6 total hours. It should be noted that once everything was all secured and up and running, our antenna strength had gone down to 111. We went from no service to full bars. This booster really works! Highly recommended!!!!!

Great solution for my previous network signal problems
UK customer on O2 network. Product worked for me! Perseverance in setting up was worth it. Easy to follow instructions and top customer service (bearing in mind the customer vs supplier time difference) for best install results. 3 months later I still have a reliable signal throughout my property, which I never had prior to installing.

From 1 to 4 bars and E to 4G in a couple of hours.
This is a great piece of kit, easy to set up and made an immediate difference to my phone signal. I am fairly remote with no landline or tv aerial and needed to walk about outside to try and get a signal for a mobile phone call. After installing the Cel-Fi booster I now have 4 bars of signal and the added benefit of stable 4G which I can use for my broadband and tv streaming.
