This is an awesome book on Armenia. It's history and it's folk. It highlights many famous Armenians of note. It shows the artistry from the region as well. I highly recommend it. Thanks to this author and his contributors

The book was exactly as described, in print and paper. The information contained in it is quite extensive. Shipping and packaging was spot on! I may purchase another copy to give as a gift.

This is a great book whether you are knowledgable of the culture or not. It is written as if there are short stories throughout. It keeps your attention and gives you a variety of information. I bought a couple as gifts to others and kept one for myself.

This book is not a systematic history of Armenia and the author, while knowledgeable and a compelling writer, is not a trained historian. This book nevertheless contains a lot of good information.

Amazing country!!!

I like how this book keeps the VAST Armenian history simple and organized.Very easy to read and find what you are looking for.

This book is more focused on Armenian individuals throughout history than in the Armenian country, identity or so. It is theme-focused and the sections are small and descriptive. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Great book

This is a very useful book - written as an introduction to their heritage for ex-pats who want to know about their Armenian heritage and ancestry.Each short chapter invites further research into historical events or culture or architecture or politics or entertainers, etc, etc, which have emerged from Armenia since the times of the ancient Greeks and the Persians.It is a handbook, a doorway, an initiation.

Good - but difficult to read

We bought this book before our trip to Armenia in order to learn more about the history, architecture, and art of this amazing country. Although the choice of books about Armenia it not too big (at least those I could find online), this one is definitely a good option, for those who have no idea, or just a little bit idea, about the country. I don’t know if ones looking for more detailed information would be satisfied, as it is more a quick journey through the history. Nevertheless, if you are not scientist preparing his research but a regular enthusiast on the country is it definitely a choice.

Contains a great deal of pertinent introductory information about Armenian culture, religion, litterature and history. Look at the table of contents to see which topics are discussed!
