I've been a fan of the turkish towel for almost 10 years. In that time, I have ordered two other types of turkish towels from Amazon [and have been in many a friend's home with those same sets of grey & white towels - they must come up as "recommended"], and have bought turkish towels from stores. The other sets I got from Amazon were OK at best, both became largely discolored [grays turning to pink] after regular use [without bleach] & one type gets so wrinkled up in the dryer it's impossible to ever fold them.I am a big fan of these towels for a few reasons: they look great [a nice deep charcoal/almost black, and crisp white - and the colors retain themselves very well] - I get compliments on them regularly, are thicker than most [due to the terry side] and thus suitable for all-year usage, and hold up well**I ordered 2 towels about 3 years ago, and those are in fantastic shape. Occasionally the little ties become untied, and i just knot them again & they look just as good. I recently ordered 2 more and one unraveled quite a bit on it's first wash. I'm not sure how common this is, but if you have an aggressive washer or dryer [i guess i do!], it is possible. Probably washing in a delicates bag would have avoided this.So for my needs, the style, softness & absorbency makes this a pretty solid towel.

It's ok - not particularly thin as I wanted it to be for my flight, but it did dry fast! I have demoted it from beach towel to shower towel and am satisfied with it. I am a plus-size woman and the size covered me well when I wrapped it around me, but would like it to be a bit bigger for the beach.

I was looking for a thin, lightweight but still nice towel to use at the gym that would pack well and dry quickly and this is definitely the towel I was looking for. It's pretty large but folds up nicely and the terrycloth side is super cozy. Would also be great just in the bathroom or to take on the go!

At first I thought the tassels were going to get wrecked over time. Turns out tassels wash and hang dry without damage. And I thought I should dry off on the fuzziest side. Turns out drying with smoother (printed) side is wonderful, very quickly absorbant. Had to adjust to it.

Beautiful towel and the fleece gives it some fluff so it’s not like a flour sack. It holds a lot of dog hair even right out of the dryer. I’ve had it for about a year (at least 15 washes) and it’s still scratchy, not soft.

I like this towel better than other Turkish towels because it has a thin layer of Terry on one side. It doesnt fold up super small, though.

These are the best! I love that one side is terry and the other Turkish. Light weight but dry really well. Fold up small. Wash and wear beautifully. I’ve been using these for 7 months and now I want more. I hope to replace all our old towels with these.

The fabric is rather thin. Great for pool or beach use. Size is rather large, making it wonderful as park or beach blanket. Color is as pictured.
