I started giving this to my autistic son after doing some research on magnesium L-threonate, and it’s made a noticeable difference. He seems more focused, less anxious, and just generally more balanced. It’s not a magic fix, but it’s definitely helped with his mood and memory. I like that it’s clean, with no junk ingredients, and gentle on his system. We’ll be sticking with this one.

While reading her another one of my Amazon reviews, Lauren, my girlfriend, recently told me that “genius can’t be forced.” Well, I bought these supplements because I hope it can at least be stimulated. While that has yet to happen in a clear way, or really anything has yet to happen that I can definitively pin on these supplements - except maybe some mild diarrhetic symptoms - I’m giving them five stars. Five stars because I’m optimistic that the more I BELIEVE in these supplements, the better they will work. As I think through the potential that these pills contain within them, I feel smarter, stronger, and more well rested.

My Dr. suggested taking magnesium to help with anxiety. I did some research, and there are a number of different types of magnesium on the market. From what I read, magnesium l-Threonate is the best to use, and that’s what this is. As for price, all of Pure Encapsulation’s products are far more expensive than what is available at the local store. They are also the most pure formulations of the supplement you’re seeking. So to me, it’s worth the extra money to know I’m not wasting money, or therapeutic benefit, on something loaded with fillers. As for anxiety, it’s probably too soon to know how well these work, but I do feel better. And these supplements are certainly better than having to rely on benzodiazepines, which are all addictive. I’ll update this in a month or so, but I do recommend that if you need supplements, you use Pure Encapsulation, or at least do your own research. All supplements are not made alike.

I was referred to the magnesium threonate by a Dr who found treatments for pain caused by Adhesive Arachnoiditis which i was diagnosed with early this year. After using it for about a month, with a couple of other other supplements, has eased the pain and some of the symptoms.

A few years back, Magnesium-L-Threonate was the "new big thing" in the health and supplement magazines. Since I wanted help with my memory, stress and overall brain function, I jumped in with both feet. I tried this one and a few other brands, such as Neuro-Mag by Life Extension. Sadly, Magnesium-L-Threonate did not work well for me. I felt "off" - like a weird, zoned-out kind of feeling. I felt loopy. It was worth trying but it was an expensive try. This might work for some, but not for me. The one thing I found that really seems to help with memory is phosphatidylcholine. You can either take that separately, or in a formula like Life Extension's Cognitex. As for the rest of my brain, we're still working on that....:)
