Pretty awesome results! This is the first time I've tried macro and I am very impressed with how this set has changed the effect of my lense...FYI: Canon EOS1200d 18-55mm 3x tubesThe unidentified picture attached is my dog's nose!!

Initially bought magnifying filters, but these were returned. These extention tubes are very good: no image distortion, easy to fit, and the auto-focus is just he same. A downside is having to remove the main lens which could expose the sensor to dust, etc. The other is the nature of the mateial which might not withstand any heavy use, but you get what you pay for and these work very well for me.

Does exactly what it says it does. Most of the negative reviews are from people who don't seem to understand what these are or how they work.

Very cheap materials used(hence the price).........90% plastic used and a very low standard plastic, seems quite brittle, if you dropped one im sure it would shatter. Bought the Canon fit set of 3, 12mm,20mm, 36mm DG-C.......the auto focus/ aperture connections are made of metal but its also a very low standard alloy. Auto focus works fine on the 12mm and 20mm but a bit hit and miss with the 36mm and when used in combination together you are better off using manual focus( which is standard even for a top quality macro-lens)..........I bought them for insect photography and will be using a telephoto lens(canon 55-250mm STM II) which works well as the minimum focusing distance using the 20mm extension is around 30cm , close enough with my Canon 70D as the crop sensor is filled with the subject, adding the 12mm gets you slightly closer still, any closer and your subject(dragonfly,butterfly etc) will fly off before you get the shot................for smaller subjects that dont move the 36mm can be used to good effect on a wider angle lens eg 24mm to get in really tight. Stacking the tubes is a bit hit and miss and will need a lot of practice. When fitting the tubes to your camera they do actually ''click'' in place tightly but adding your lens to the tube you dont get that ''click'' making you slightly nervous of the security of your lens, also they seem to quietly grind when fitting suggesting to me the friction caused over prolonged use may damage to your camera connectors. I may well be wrong on that point, overall they are well priced £37 for 3 tubes and get results but in hindsight I would go for a more expensive brand like Kenko.

I wanted to try some macro photography and am still learning I was a bit worried having read some reviews on other listings where they were having problems I chose these as being metal they seemed to be more robust and I'm really happy with them I've not had any problems they have worked perfectly with my camera and lenses.

For the price they okay, they works fine with all the tubes stacked together, no issues what soever with Aperture and AF controls on my 60mm F2.8 Ef-s canon macro prime lensThe tubes screw on and off the lens and camera with no problems they are however lightweight and feel a bit cheap, but then they are cheap.Bottom line these extension tube work well and function as they should. I’m not sure how they would handle with a heavy lens. if you want to experiment with macro photography these would be a good investment to start with.I have included some photos with all tubes stacked together wth above mentioned (macro lens 1:1) attached.

Not sure if I got a dud one but will focus neither on autofocus or manual focus. EOS 5D with 100mm macro lens.

I thought I would take a chance of getting these extension rings rather the purchasing a proper macro lens.I was pleasantly surprised that they worked very well. I have used each as individual and in combination of twos, but I wouldn't recommend three together, not because they do not work its more because you have to be very close to the subject (on my Canon 700D with its standard lens). They do also work in a fashion with my Sigma telephoto with has macro function.

Yes it is made of plastic but it won’t flex or bend, it fits on the camera perfectly and it communicates with the camera in all configurations. Hard to find something better for the price.

I tubi si presentano solidi e ben fatti, i contatti funzionano bene, gli innesti sono buoni.L'unica cosa da stare attenti è che se monti 3 tubi ed un'ottica pesante si nota che i tubi tendono fanno fatica a tenere su tutto. Ma credo che sia anche ovvio. A quel punto monti un supporto.
