Reliable & Efficient Power Backup!
The CyberPower EC750G is a fantastic UPS system! It provides reliable battery backup (750VA/450W) and surge protection for my essential electronics. The ECO mode helps save energy, and the 12 outlets offer plenty of connectivity. Compact yet powerful, it’s a great value for the price. Highly recommend for home or office use!

Very nice unit that works well!
This unit replaces a similar USB Back up system from another unit that I had for almost 6 years until it finally died. I found the exact replacement for it online, but the price was twice the price of this, with only 8 outlets and fewer useful functions than this had. The price was better, as well as the reviews on this CyberPower EC750G. I really like the support system that is offered as a free download. This unit is very easy to use and understand, and hooking it up was a breeze! I really like how the unit is constantly monitoring the power supply and all the other very helpful information it provides for the user. For the price, 12 outlets, and all the other great features, it was a "no brainer". It has already protected my computer from several small power outages, and the battery backup did what it was supposed to do flawlessly! It keeps track of every "event" for you with a detailed list. I'm very happy with this purchase, and encourage others to look into a battery back up system for the future protection of all the electronic systems running behind it. Well worth the money!

Classic performance
These things are lifesavers when you live in storm-prone areas. The last one I had burned out after we had an abrupt and long outage The battery was drained completely and the cost to replace that wasn't worth retaining the product - and they are pretty useless without the battery backup. I bought another CyberPower because I've ALWAYS bought their products. I'm not crazy about their pricing or the cost to fix their batteries - hence the 4. If you don't have a battery backup tied into your surge product, you are courting disaster. Some years ago I fried a fairly new computer. Haven't been without a CyberPower since and have never regretted.

Unbeatable
The amount of receptacles you receive for the price is unbeatable. I did not use the eco mode, as I have various combinations of devices that are turned on or off and there is only one master, but for other users this might not be an issue and is a nice add-on, especially since you can decide if you want to use it, unlike other UPSs, that enable the master permanently.

Garbage product with worse support.
I used this "UPS" to keep a single PC up during power flickers that have become fairly common in my area the last couple of years. All my other unimportant devices went on the surge-protected but non-battery backed side of the unit. After about 90 days I came in one morning to a solid beep from the unit, along with my PC and peripherals all dead (even the ones on the non-battery side.) I had to long hold power, and then repeat a minute later to reset the unit. After this happened about 4-5 times I contacted support - after nearly an hour of "troubleshooting" the agent who could barely speak English told me that my computer power supply was incompatible with their UPS. Pretty amazing really, considering I didn't ever read them the model, serial, or specs off my PC power supply. Hung up, and tried calling a week later for somebody with a clue. This time I got somebody who spoke decent English, but was probably stoned, as he couldn't comprehend a word out of my mouth nor remember anything I'd already told him. After we circled about until he gave me the same "incompatible" rhetoric, he told me they'd do a "one-time" swap of the unit as a courtesy (by this point, I'd threatened everything I could think of, perhaps up to and including kidnapping his dog.) I got with Amazon instead and got a refund for the piece of crap and sent it back to them. I went to a real store and bought an APC instead. CyberPower is inexpensive and looks tech-tastic, but is a poorly run outfit with bargain basement junk. Beware buyer, you get what you pay for.

Battery Backup
CyberPower UPS are a perfect backup for my computer. I have a few of these different versions and have had not problems. I have replaced the batterys in 1 once. Ive tried other brands and they have only last 2 years and they died. The software you get for them is great. You can silence the beeping sound when the power goes out.

compact, small battery backup
The area I live in has frequent power flickers. This is when your power goes on/off/on quickly - it might happen 3-5 times a week. If there are thunderstorms, it could cause the power to go off for 5-10 minutes. Having your devices on a battery backup like this device has many advantages: 1) Your devices will not crash or lose power during the flicker. You can keep working. 2) If there is a surge or spike, your devices are protected by the UPS. 3) If it is an extended outage, you have time to save your work and properly shutdown your equipment. With a laptop and monitor, guessing this device would give you an easy 20-30 minutes of back up power (assuming your battery on the laptop is charged). If you have bigger devices, you should get a bigger ups. However, this one is great for laptops or small form factor computers.

I got this UPS to replace an old one with only 8 outlets. This one has 12 with a choice of surge, battery powered and eco mode. I don't have to use extension cord like before... not enough outlets. :-) The software coupled with the UPS works fine and have all the infos I need. You can turn off some alarms if you want, very usefull. So far everything work fine.

Worked until it didn't. And no support after sale. I have 4 cyber power UPS devices. All under 1 year old. This EC750G failed during a storm. The Pioneer receiver I had plugged into it (in the battery+surge section) was totally fried as well as a 1G network switch. I contacted cyber power support with receipts to make a claim. They took all my info then never followed up with me. I am seriously regretting buying 4 Cyber Power UPS units because I am questioning their efficacy and integrity. Firstly, the UPS didn't do its job and protect my equipment. Secondly, the after sale service is abysmal, making me chat for an hour and provide details and receipts and then never following through with the claim.

I have 2 other (smaller) CyberPower Units that work fine and as expected. The EC750G runs fine for a few days, then starts clicking. Then fine for a few days, then more clicking. It shut down once for no apparent reason. The other 2 CyberPower units were quiet. I have a laser printer on another outlet - whenever I print something, the EC750G starts clicking even tho it's not connected to the printer. Never had this annoyance with the old APC unit I had (battery was failing). Same computer, same monitor, same everything. I don't trust the EC750G for my computer. Will use it elsewhere in the home.
