Men's Military Style Polarized Pilot Aviator Sunglasses Bayonet Temples

These sunglasses are way better and beyond more sturdy than ones we could pick up on base at the BX/PX 20+ years ago; if you are a military person. These come with a very soft carry bag and nice silk cleaning cloth. I will keep mine in a hard shell case along with the bag and cloth. There are much more expensive ones out there but really like the old style look and sturdiness of these at this price point They fit nice and snug but not to the point where they pinch to a degree of of being painful or cause a headache. They do rest a little close to the face and brow that you may get some sweat or moisture on the inside of the lenses. They may lift away from your face if you furrow your brow too strongly. They rest very comfortably on the face and nose or even propped up on the scalp; if you are bald. The nose rest doesn’t seem to dig in too much on the nose or forehead. So….if you “Feel the need for speed” and you have “The Right Stuff”, get these shades. You will not be disappointed! I would, and probably will buy these again. I needed to find cheap sunglasses that would be good enough because I can't seem to keep expensive sunglasses from breaking or getting lost. The frame on these is similar or maybe slightly better than what you would get at a big box retail store. I've never owned AO or Randolph Engineering so I can't compare these to those, but I've had the thinner style frames form Mai Jim and Ray-Ban. Compared to those these are cheaper and will probably break over time, but I will probably loose these before that happens. Would I rather have Randolph Engineering? Yes, but I don't feel like losing the difference of $263 every year. The biggest down fall of these sunglasses are the nose pieces and the bayonet ear pieces. They both have a dull clear opaque color rather than being fully transparent like expensive sunglasses. I guess I didn't realize that in the picture before I bought them. They should have been either 100% clear, dark smoke color, or a solid dark grey color. The nose piece metal design is also kind of cheap and uniquely large. I think this design was used since it was probably the cheapest and simplest way to hold a silicone nose piece. Other cheap sunglasses on Amazon appear to have the same design. Normal nose pieces snap to a metal ring. These nose pieces are held on by sliding the metal into the side of the nose piece. These block UV rays better than my Ray-bans when shined directly head on, but there is more light leakage on the sides since they do not wrap around my face like my Ray-Bans. To test the light I bought a UV flashlight and these blocked all the purple light when shined head own. My Ray-Ban top bar sunglasses allowed some purple light through when shined directly head on. They are polarized just like my Ray-Bans. The packaging was nice. I didn’t read that I would be receiving the mini screwdriver so that was a nice surprise. Also, I am glad they came with the microfiber cloth and carrying pouch to keep them clean. For the price I think it’s going to be hard to beat these sunglasses unless you need Rx sunglasses. (SUNGAIT if you read this review do you think you could send me some dark smoke nose pieces and bayonet ear pieces?)

Fantastic sunglasses for the price. Some reviews said they were too small. I got the non adjustable version and they fit fine. Comfortable and good looking

Solid glasses. Nothing fancy, they look like the picture and the lenses are good.

Scratch very easy other than that they are made cheap but what do you expect

Las gafas están muy bien , mejor de lo que esperaba la verdad, no son muy grandes, pero las quería así ...lentes polarizadas de calidad, almohadillas cómodas y un diseño muy conseguido. Habrá que ver cómo aguanta el paso del tiempo pero calidad precio inmejorable . Las recomiendo.

Reçue aujourd'hui, cette paire de lunette est réellement bluffante pour son prix. Couvre bien les yeux, légère, a l'air solide, mais ça reste une paire de lunette , on peut toujours pas enfoncer un clou avec, je dis ça pour les fous furieux qui en font n'importe quoi... Sinon, l'emballage est nickel, une housse de protection et un porte clefs tournevis livrés avec pour resserrer les branches au cas ou, mais le réglage d'usine un peu fort me convient parfaitement. Grace à cet achat le staff m'a envoyé un mail pour la garantie et aussi pour recevoir une autre paire gratuite, j'en ai choisi une pour ma femme qui sera ravie aussi de les recevoir.
