My favorite!
I’ve purchased these at the health food store for years but they went out of business. So happy to find this brand and in this form since it’s one of the best forms of magnesium. Ran out of them but got these delivered in no time.

Life changing for muscle spasms and cramping. Plus it helps you get to sleep.
This product has truly transformed my life. Having undergone multiple back surgeries has left me with a significant amount of nerve damage, and I often find myself enduring painful muscle spasms and cramping for about an hour each time I lie down. The discomfort doesn’t stop there; I typically wake up several times throughout the night, struggling with those same muscle cramps. However, since I started using this product, I’ve experienced a remarkable reduction in muscle spasms and cramping. Now, I'm able to enjoy significantly better sleep, often waking up only once or twice during the night instead of the usual 6 to 10 times. This journey has been nothing short of a revelation for me. I’m so grateful that I've started using not just this product, but several others from their line as well.

Won't go without it
Love this product. I won't go without it. I take 3-4 a night and my sleep and muscle issues have improved greatly.

Love this product
My naturopath told me that magnesium becomes harder to absorb as you get older, and Glycinate is one of the forms that is most easily absorbed and does not cause the diarrhea which some forms of magnesium do. This product has 200 mg of magnesium per capsule, and I did not have any problems swallowing this size capsule as. After using it, my blood pressure went down, I slept much better, I woke up more refreshed, and had fewer muscle aches. I have not had any side effects from it. I switched off to a tablet form of Magnesium Glycinate when this product was out of stock, but found it very hard to swallow and developed horrible insomnia, heart palpitations, muscles aches, etc. I am so glad this product is back, and stunned to see how much better I slept after only one day back on it. I love this product and hope it’s never out of stock again!

Wonderful product, and a part of my daily supplements.
Still pleased with these supplements. The US RDA for magnesium is 400 mg. This is the only supplement I have found that comes in a 200mg version so I only need to take two a day. The pills are not huge and are easy to swallow capsules and I use them to compliment the turmeric I take for inflammation due to a variety of illnesses. My pain is substantially reduced when I take these supplements. Not sure what others are talking about when they complain of loose stool. This magnesium is simply not designed to cause or prevent loose bowels. Perhaps they see magnesium, and think of Milk of Magnesia which is Magnesium Hydroxide. This is Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate and a totally different thing. There isn't enough magnesium oxide in here to cause bowel issues.

Best Form No Longer.
Bluebonnet Buffered Chelated Magnesium I've taken this product for the past 4 years; at the time of my first review this product was mislabeled and it took a lawsuit [see: truthinadvertising period org, look up bluebonnet chelated magnesium] for BlueBonnet to change the label. Since the lawyers almost certainly got a payday and didn't force BB to publicly disclose this to their customers in some fashion other than changing the label (certainly, customers weren't compensated by the class action even though one of the stated reasons for the lawsuit-harm to consumers' wallets), I'm not particularly grateful to them. As such, I can't say it is cost effective anymore. At the time, according to the information I could obtain (about Albion who I knew supplied Bluebonnet was the best source and pure). That turned out to be incorrect. However, I didn't know since unlike the complaintant in the lawsuit this product didn't and doesn't give me loose stools. I also don't have problems with stearates, unlike some. If you do, you need to look elsewhere (or you can have your allergy treated by seeing a NAET professional). Since Albion was also named as a co-defendant in the same lawsuit and Albion (according to the lawsuit) had the ability to control Bluebonnet's label, I don't know if there was a legal reason or not that forced them to be unable to change it. Perhaps if I had inside information like another reviewer, I would. But it appears there is a some sort of NDA on that, so we won't know unless someone breaks it or leaks documents. Interestingly it seems Nuvira changed its information and pulled/changed labels on its products in response to the lawyers. Perhaps they had a better legal team when they were signing the purchase agreement with Albion. The only people who know can't talk about that either. Oh well. Since it worked great for the last 4 years, normally it would be 5 stars. But it is 50% magnesium oxide (and thus overpriced), so I choose to drop one star. Since I don't know whether or not they had legal reasons for their actions I'm not going to deduct anything for that. I will probably be looking at other products the next time I order, but I'm hardly going to stop taking the stock I have. Not sure I will recommend it to others. --original review for transparency-- I have taken many forms of magnesium over the last two years. I started with powder in drinks (this is the one Magnesium Serene 800mg-Tangerine Flavor - 4 oz - Powder I liked the best), but note I don't use them anymore: they are absorbed better than elemental magnesium in pill form, but were not cost effective for me. They are a good choice if you cannot swallow pills. Albion (who supplies Bluebonnet with the chelated magnesium) makes the best chelation of magnesium that I've found. I need to take 3 pills of this a day to avoid my symptoms (mucous and poor sleep) and this form allows me to avoid the GI troubles that result from the quantity that I must take of other magnesium products. Bluebonnet makes a magnesium aspartate as well, which is not as good. I need to take 5-6 pills of the aspartate daily to obtain about 90% of the benefit of 3 of the Albion chelated pills; more is not advisable(GI issues). That's better than not getting more than about 50% improvement with GI trouble from non-chelated products, however. For me, this is the most cost effective solution, with the most positives and least negatives. The pills are medium size, roughly 2cm by 6mm dia (15/16" by 1/4" dia). I cannot swallow tablets this size, but the gelcaps go down fine one at at time.
