DreamSky Small Digital Alarm Clock for Bedroom with Large Big Numbers

This clock looked tiny when it arrived but upon plugging it in the numbers were much larger relative to its size than other clocks I had purchased. The display is very bright with many levels of brightness. It's silent with no faint humming noise like my last clock. All the functionality works well including setting the alarm, time, time format, all the basic functions you expect in a basic digital bedroom clock. The amber display on my clock is the perfect color for bedside, unlike blue which I feel is too bright. The only negative is the power cord plugs into a small USB-C port in the back of the clock which doesn't plug in as tightly as a USB-A plug and I have unplugged the clock on accident picking it up to set the alarm.

Great size, only about 1.5 inches thick but had already done the video 4 times so not about to do it again. the dimmable orange display is great, SO much easier on the eyes at night than other colors and difficult to find. 5 foot power cord, extra usb outlet on the back for a phone charger should you need it. battery backup to keep time during power outages, but will not power display. didn't buy for alarm so can't speak to volume.

Large, easy to read numbers. Display can be dimmed so it would be faint, but readable, even in a darkened room. Got the yellow display colors, since that is probably the best color to view at night. Does not set the correct time by itself, but I do not consider that a problem, since you do that just once. Power cord is long enough to comfortably reach a nearby outlet. Reasonably priced.

I purchased the amber color clock after my iPhone alarm failed me on a couple of occasions. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase as it does what you expect - a loud beeping tone when you alarm triggers. You can adjust the volume to your own needs. The display is large, so those of us who need readers do not need them to turn on the alarm or change the time. Also, the display brightness is adjustable, which is key as the full brightness is quite bright and would be distracting for me in the bedroom. What would I change? Two things: 1) The button clicks to adjust the alarm time are a bit loud and when you need to click it multiple times to change the minutes, for example, it can bother a sleeping partner; 2) It would be nice to have a tactile feel to the buttons so you could tell which ones to push to set the alarm and change the time. Without it, I keep pushing the four buttons until I get the right one. If you changed the alarm time every night, you would probably develop the memory of the buttons but because I do it sporadically, I'm relearning it every time. All in all, a solid alarm clock at a very reasonable price.

Actually, I ordered two, One with blue LED, the other with dull orange. I like all about these clocks EXCEPT I just realized there is no switch to move it back and forth in daylight savings time. As I bought the clocks for my cousin who is in her 90s, changing time isn't easy. Actually, not truly easy basically with multiple buttons in back. I would have left as 5 for its great look, size, and so on, but had to lower because changing time for daylight savings could be easier which I just realized today when time changed. I would think that would be a very easy addition to this great clock. However, what I like is it is not oversized or undersized, 5 inches long, 3 inches high, 1.5 inches deep. Just right, It's easy to read even 30 feet away but not specially intrusive, especially the blue color, no cluttered dial, just the time. I sent the dull orange one as a gift to my 97 year old cousin who was happy to have a big, simple clock as alas she has macular degeneration, but I put battery in, set-it up, and mailed to her so she could plug in without fiddling with the time. None of us use its alarm, so on that I can't comment but have no reason to suspect it would be a problem. Just a basic alarm. Borders on impossible to find a clock without an alarm. I wouldn't ordinarily rave about a clock, but wow the number of choices for clocks is unbelievable and finding one that's just right like the porridge in the three bears story wasn't easy. You may like it too. Even I had to move to blue from dull orange, but cheap enough to try another but only taste on my part, not a clock problem. Indeed, there are other colors that may fit someone else.. For example, there's a red one some may like and I was curious over the green one. Mine is black plastic, some are white plastic and one is a wood-grained. No one had so many clock choices. My goal was to be as unobtrusive as possible., black with blue LED worked well for that. Buying two to try around the house isn't so terrible given the low price ($19-$20) if you wonder which color might work best and like me are too lazy to go through returns and exchange for cheaper products. In short, perfect, and something I rarely say.

Good clock

I love this thing! It is a bright beautiful orange which actually compliments the accessories in my bedroom! It is very bright, but can be dimmed to your liking. It is nice and small; fits perfectly on the edge of the dresser. I love the large numbers...no more squinting at night with my glasses off. The controls are super easy to use, easy to set and very old school..which suits me just fine. Think the price was fair for what I got..just hope it lasts!

I love this clock! The size is perfect for my nightstand. The extra charging port is great! The color orange is really nice and easy to look at. The thing I love most is the dimmer dial. I like to barely see the time in the dark so my eyes don't wake me up too much and disturb my sleep. The dimmer rolls like a volume wheel on a radio...from bright to all the way to dark. It doesn't make any noise when I roll the dial to adjust the brightness. My old clock had a very loud sounding brightness button with only a few settings. The blue numbers were still too bright on the lowest setting so I had to tape over the face of the clock with blue painters tape to make it dimmer. Not very attractive! Replacing it with this new clock was a wonderful dimmer upgrade!

This clock is easy to plug in via USB connection to the electrical. I love the orange numerals and dimmed them so as not to jump out quite as brightly in my living room under the TV. Excellent product that keeps the time!
