I am a senior and have been using "sound machines" all my life beginning with the old woodgrain & black Norelco bedside "air purifiers" that had a decent fan noise (actually bought more at garage sales back then) to my multiple Marpacs, Red Rooster, and others I've forgotten. These Lectrofans are in a class by themselves. The Classic Lectro is great too, but the EVO was so worth the extra bucks for both the style and the 2 ocean sounds. It's heavier than the classic and less likely to move when you reach over in the dark to turn it up or down. I bought the gray & white and like how it looks. Nice buttons too. My son has the Lectro Classic in black which is wonderful and why I purchased one, but the Evo is heaven. The Surf sound is the last selection on the white noise side, it's just wonderful. Sounds like a real surf does. I love the other deeper sounds as well. I'm sure come spring and summer I'll have a need to use different fan sounds to drown out distracting pounding, saws, etc... and there are many to choose from. Most of them will come in handy depending on circumstances. These Adaptive Sound professionals know their stuff! Music to my ears! Thank you!

This is my go-to travel sleeping white noise machine for my toddler and baby. I love how small and compact it is, and how loud the white noise can get. It's the best way to block out the ambient noise and get the baby a good rest! I would buy a second one of these in a heartbeat if I ever needed two. This has multiple settings for different sound / noise types of fan/white noise.

This is a lovely and wonderful sound machine. I had for years been using a fan based white noise machine for years from another company. The unit had to be taken apart yearly to remove any dust and hair from our four fur kids. Not a big deal, but still a small pain. On top of that it didn't have the different sounds that this one is capable of. It also used a great deal of wattage to power the fan. Evo is a USB powered sound machine that takes very little power to run the unit. Their support is also quite wonderful. I got coffee on mine and I was never able to clean it off and they sent me a replacement. I was blown away by the friendliness and their response to my mistake by sending another unit. I will be buying more of these for friends/family as gifts as they are sure to please.

Has 20 or so settings. Has many sound levels that go far above what I would ever need it for. It has a 3.5mm port if you wanted to sleep with headphones on, although it should be mentioned that I've tried this and the port is very loose and your plug will come out with a gentle tug or strong breeze.

Bought one of the older versions with the fan motor inside for my father years ago. He's used it everday since and always swore by it. Recently he let me borrow his for a couple weeks and I got very used to it. Gave it back and hated sleeping without it. Decided to give this electronic version a try based on the reviews. I'll say this, do yourself a favor and get one. The old school fan motor was great and this one is even better. Small enough to easily travel with but still can get louder than you'd ever need it to be. Would highly recommend this version.

Love my little white noise machine. I purchased it for my non stop barking dogs. They bark every time they hear a neighbors car door open or close; on of them is ultra scared of thunder storms; shakes like a leaf. Works amazing. I turn it on when I leave the house, or when there is a storm. Has helped my dogs tremendously

Great sound, but annoying that the max timer is only eight hours. After a few months started suddenly turning off after 5 minutes of use and could not be turned back on until after several hours, after which the same thing would happen.

Helps the kids sleep through the night in that they are not woken up as much by random sounds. I am pretty disappointed that the description is completely misleading on its power source. The power source is a standard AC/DC power cord (not micro/mini or even A/B) that simply goes to a USB phone adapter. .. This is a complete hack job of a power supply so they can call it USB powered.. if your cord becomes frayed.. you cannot just use any USB replacement cord.. you have to try to track down a hack job of a usb to a round plug power cord (which they don't sell on their website, Amazon, and have to go to ebay to find. I though it would be USB mini or micro on the device.. nope.. some weird usb to circular dc/ac adapter cord. This means it is useless if you take it on a trip and forget the cord, lose the cord, you are out of luck. It 2019 and this product came out in 2018.. who doesn't put a true usb power source on a device like this these days?? Apparently Lectrofan being cheap.

Absolut zufrieden! Ich bin ein Leichtschläfer, dieses Gerät hilft mir je nach Gusto einen entsprechenden Sound einzustellen und damit etwas isolierter schlafen zu können. Einzig die Knöpfe könnten etwas taktiler gestaltet werden, damit man im Dunkeln sich schnell zurecht findet. Ansonsten absolut begeistert. Hatte ein zweites Gerät bestellt um es zu verschenken, das ist sehr gut angekommen bei dem Beschenkten.

Pound for pound, this little beauty does it well. Have four of them -- two for the bedroom and two for back-ups. Also, very durable and seemingly long lived. One of the cheapest machines around but a real tough little beast. I really recommend it.

Indudablemente es uno de los mejores aparatos para enmascarar sonido, con calidad de sonido, volumen, un diseño elegante y unos botones intuitivos, basta con leer las instrucciones una sola vez. Este modelo es una versión mejorada del anterior, con un par más de sonidos, opción de auriculares y más ajustes en el temporizador. El único defecto de esta versión y la antigua: no tienen la opción de pilas, es decir, necesitan estar enchufados a corriente o USB.
