Not What You'd Exepect
Galway Crystal brings to mind Ireland and Galway Bay and all that's delicate and lovely. I should've known by the low price that it was too good to be true. First, three of four glasses arrived broken; secondly, the bottom of each glass has a sticker Made in the Czech Republic. Yes, they're sturdy- the one that was not shattered -and not unattractive. But I wanted Irish crystal...made in Ireland. My bad.

These glasses are not made by Galway Crystal but in Czech Republic - which unless I'm mistaken is not clearly stated anywhere and therefore a case of false advertising! Neither are they crystal as they are made from thick very heavy glass with a crude copy of the Galway Crystal themed design on the outside.Disappointed
