Good product, good price, does the job

Great for a canister filter.
Great size for Oase canister filter trays I have this loose in 3 upper trays after the sponge on an Oase 850. Once matured and cycled this is an effective biological filter medium.

Actually pretty big individually
Disappointed... all loose in a box and size varies somewhat and the "shape" differs .. assume injection moulded and poss. an issue with composition or mould

they do the job but I have a 5ft sump on fish tank so think this from that point of view, they are bulky so do not even consider if smaller set up, stick to K1
