Sterno50106 Portable Butane Stove with Piezo Electronic Ignition and Adjustable Flame, 9000 BTU, Black

I opted to buy a Sterno brand stove based on their commercial ranking in the catering business. This burner was purchased to be a back up for power outages and for portable cooking needs. Unfortunately, this is not built like I had expected it to be based on the name. It is a cheap, stamped steel appliance with flimsy riveted hinges that was bent right out of the box and the fuel door lid would not open. I was able to get it to work for less trouble than returning it so that's what I did. If you are expecting a true, commercial grade device just remember this nay not meet your expectations.

When the electricity goes out , camping ,breakfast at the park, I use it outside when I fry fish so the smell is not in my house. I like it because is just my size and light weight just perfect

The one thing that disappointed me was the case is cracked across the back, stove wasn't damaged didn't bother sending it back. Got it in case of power outage not for camping so it will serve the purpose.

Love it. Great for car/plane camping. Nice and compact - but with ample capacity. Heated a large coffee pot of water, and grill eggs for 4 over 3 days at about 4,000' and was still on my first canister of fuel. Very nicely made.

Wish I had bought this a few years ago

Will be relegated to emergency or outdoor summer use. Did not appear to heat up my wok as well as I would have liked. Not sure if the wok was too good for this stove or if the stove simply didn't produce an adequate amount of heat. Otherwise, should work well for my non wok needs.

This portable stove is terrific! This 9000BTU stove is so much better than the 5000BTU model that it replaced. It's easy to setup and use and will boil water from a large pot in 5 minutes! I like having a storage case and is easy to clean and care for. Highly recommend.
