Hudson Essentials Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and Spoons Set (15 Piece Set)

This product is everything it claims to be. It’s sturdy, with easy to read the in stamped amounts! My first recipe called for 2/3 cup of milk but using only half of it at a time. It has an amount that shows exactly half!! I’m only sorry I didn’t have these years ago only because they are going to make my life so much easier!! I’m so happy with them!!

I love these. They include all measuring amounts. I love the 2 cup. The spoons are awesome as well. I no longer have to guess what a scant is. They are. made well and are very easy to clean. They stack beautifully but you can hand them if you prefer. I so prefer stainless steel to plastic. Love them.

Due to some things that came up, it took a bit to get around to playing with this purchase. But now that I have, OH MY GOSH! These are the best set of measuring cups and spoons I have ever handled. They are study, well-built, and sized perfectly. Not too tall, fits in my shallow drawer. Customer service was the best. I requested a custom order for myself and for Christmas gifts, and they exceeded all expectations. I can’t say enough great things about this set or their customer service. It was surreal to have a real-live person be so thoughtful and attentive to my request. And shipping and delivery was super fast.And let’s not forget about the spoons. *swoon* Just as sturdy as the cups. So well made, no sharp edges in terms of feeing like you’re going to get cut. Not a concern at all with sharp edges with either the cups or the spoons. Manufacturing is crisp, sturdy, but not sharp or shoddy.And the cups have all these little thoughtful design elements, like the cups all nest neatly, where the “beak” on the front help to level-stack, eliminate the tendency of the cups sinking into each other and having the handles stick straight up. Instead, they all stack nearly, the handles lay flat on top of the one below, so they don’t go sticking up causing your drawer to catch on the handles. I do have to stack them without the 2-Cup measuring cups, but that’s because my drawers are so shallow. I’m still amazed I can stack 1-Cup on down. I couldn’t even do that with my last set, and I only had the four basic measurements with my last set.Additionally, there is an ever-so-slight little pour spout on the sides of the cups. It helps to neatly guide liquids when pouring.And, as if that wasn’t enough, the handles are shorter than most, plenty long enough to handle large scoops of flour or tough Scoops of brown sugar or lard. This means that you can actually use these spoons in your containers like flour and sugar, and maximize how much you store in the container without a long handle limiting your refill volume.Lastly, and this is just so awesome, the measuring cups have additional measurement markings stamped into cups. So, for example, the 1-cup has additional stamped markings of 3/4C, 1/2C, 1/4C. As do the other cups on down. This effectively multiplies your cups so you are not limited to only *one* 1/4-C, for example. You basically now have four or five!Oh, wait, one more, if you missed it, the cups and spoons both have stamped and engraved markings so nothing is going to get rubbed off over time.Oh, wait, I’m not done. Also, measurements are in both Imperial and metric, both clearly visible in the same font size. So it’s not like 1/4C is large and you’re squinting for 60ml. Nope, both are given equal billing. Something I really appreciate as I use recipes in both and am trying to convert to metric.I tell you, you will not regret this set. I purchased five of them. Two for my own use because when you get busy in the kitchen, as a serious home chef, you don’t want to waste time washing out that 1/4 Cup multiple times. Three are gifts.Don’t hesitate. This is the set you’ve been looking for. Professional in build, handling, and design, with a high-quality, beautiful aesthetic. I researched this to death. Buy this now! :)

Hudson Essentials measuring cups and spoons are well made and very sturdy. I like how both the cups and spoons have a 1/8 measurement which really helps me when I’m baking, especially bread. The spoons are long instead of round and fit nicely in spice jars as others have mentioned. I like how the cups have partial measurements on them so I don’t have to fill to the top and spill. I also appreciate having the measurements stamped on, It’s so much easier to read. I am very happy with my purchase!

Quality product. Easy to use and nice weight!

I wanted to love them but I really just “like” them. They are sturdy. I like the sizes. Was hoping the markings on them would show up better. The shape makes it easy to scrape ingredients from them. The material they’re made from is durable and they hold up well but I wouldn’t expect anything less from such a product. That being said, I feel $30 was a little much for these.Now that I’ve had these a while I felt I needed to update my review.This set really is very nice considering that there are more sizes than in most other sets. I appreciate the sizes because I do use them a lot. I like that the bottoms are rounded inside because it’s easy to scrape out ingredients, yet they still sit up perfectly. The material is great and they clean up easily.That being said, for me, I don’t like using rings to hold them together such as this set has. It’s not a flaw, just a personal preference. I’d rather have a small strip with hooks to hang them inside the cabinet door. One of my rings were hard to get opened and closed and would pinch you if you weren’t careful.I wish I could see the sizes better. But also to be fair. I’m older and need reading glasses for everything. These are personal preferences and needs and I didn’t want it to reflect poorly on the product itself because after owning two sets prior tho this one and buying another magnetic set (in which the magnets weren’t strong enough) after this one, THIS one is the one I like most.For 5 stars from me I’d need the sizes in a bold visible color and for the set to include a slim strip with hooks to mount to the inside of the cabinet door for the spoons to hang on individually so I can easily grab the one I want, leaving the rest undisturbed and clean!
