Product comes rolled up and is dogficult to get air bubbles out. Product is longer than what is needed and requires trimming. Difficult to install on your own. Quality of the vinyl is not great.

This vinyl decal is narrower than the original stripe. I bought it to cover a sun baked, cracked stripping in the hood of my 2014 Mini Cooper. this decal is about 3/16 inch narrower and didn't cover the original. Takes two people to apply it.

Clean the surface before applying, might need two people to apply :) I have gone through the car wash many times and they haven’t came off !!

The product arrived early and was packaged well. It is in a cylinder. Just unroll the stripes, set the product in the sun, and weight the end for an hour or so and it will lay flat. There is no white boarder around these stripes which I LOVE! They are of good quality and the application process was pretty easy. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is that they do not fit on the car hood as shown in the picture. I wanted the stripes to be angled as shown, but when laid out, they were about 4-6 inches too short. When laid straight from grill to windshield they fit fine, which is how I ended up applying them. For the record, I have never applied a racing stripe or other decal to a car before. I just watched a few YouTube videos and went for it! To apply, I used a water bottle with a pump, filled it with water and added a few drops (like 5) of dish soap. I cleaned the surface of the car where the stripe is to be applied using the soapy water and paper towels. Then I wet the surface with the soapy water (wet it really good). The soapy water allows you to lift and reapply. After wetting the surface, remove the protective side of the stripe wrapping. Make sure the stripe stays on the clear transfer liner. Then, apply the stripe to the car. It's best to use 2 people to apply the stripe, keeping it tight while one person holds it a the grill and the other at the windshield. I had a 3rd person tell us if it was straight. Once aligned, I used a hard plastic spatula (from the kitchen) to firmly attach the sticker to the car hood and work out the bubbles. Not all bubbles will come out as there is soapy water underneath. Allowing the car to sit in the sun for a few days will allow the water to evaporate and then you can work the air bubbles out. I don't recommend puncturing the sticker as that will leave holes for water to get in and eventually it might make the un-adhered sections larger or the decal will fall off. Once firmly attached, remove the clear liner leaving the sticker on the car hood. Wipe clean and work out any of the larger bubbles that remain if you can. Then repeat on the backside if you want them.
