An excellent supplement to the movie and reinforces understanding of many of the tropes. motifs and obsessions in Maddin's wonderful movies.

Quirky, and an excellent read. Has great visuals as well. Especially appealing for Winnipeg people or those knowing the place.

Wow really, at the begenning I just wanted the d.v.d, but when I saw this offer... its awesome really. The movie is great obviously Guy Maddin in his style is probably nothing you have ever seen before in a pro movie, and this one is made documentry style. The book is a great addition, its actually ''The script, extensively annotated with a conrnucopia of illuminating arcana, and an in-depth interview with Michael Ondaatje'' Juste for the annotated script in bonus its worth it, and it did not really cost much more.
