100% Waterproof Hiking Backpack Lightweight Packable Travel Daypack

Bought this sometime last year. I work out on boats during the summer, and as far as price and durability goes, this pack is great. In our off season I’ve used it as a daily work bag, and as temp gym bag, and it’s saved my stuff from the rain on multiple occasions. To address a few things in the ~year I’ve had this: No, the exterior zippered pockets aren’t waterproof. They aren’t lined like the interior. Put your “this really can’t get wet” items inside, and roll the top before clipping it closed. Yes, there is enough room for snacks, water bottles, a change of clothes, whatever you need for a DAY pack. This isn’t the type of bag you choose for an extended trip. Go bigger. The straps could be a bit wider but honestly, they’re fine, and adjustable at the top and bottom for whatever fit you’re looking for. Is the bag ABSOLUTELY waterproof? Couldn’t say, but it’s held up in heavy rain and the bottom getting soaked from water on boat decks on multiple occasions, so it does a pretty bang up job keeping stuff dry in my book. Good buy for a low price, and especially if you’re not keen on purchasing an Osprey or other bigger brand roll top dry bag just yet.

This worked great! I wasn't sure if it would be strong enough but it held quite a lot. I got the 25L size. I carried 2 water bottles, thick ski pants, binoculars, snacks, etc. The design is compact, flexible , and extremely lightweight., and it is waterproof, though luckily it didn't rain on my adventures. I love the bright orange color as it was easy to identify me as well as to find in my suitcase. Comes with an attached zipped pack to fold the backpack into when not in use. I used this zipped pouch to hold my sunglasses and keys while I was using the backpack. Quite happy with this purchase. I didn't do hardcore hiking but it worked well for my bus tours and tourist walking excursions.

I generally like this backpack because it is so lightweight and waterproof. My issue with it is that the two water bottle pockets are too short. I can’t tell you how many times my water bottle fell out, even with that elastic strap wrapped around it. And my water bottle is not tall—only a 22 oz. Lifestraw. Another inch would have been great.

I’m drawn to give this a good review after enjoying it so much on a recent trip. We knew we were in for lots of being outdoors in the rain on a recent trip to Alaska. This pack was the perfect daypack, I was so glad to have it. It kept everything dry, was easy to open and close, loved the outer pockets, and a bonus was that the pouch you fold the backpack into for storage is like a little mini purse when you’re using it because it’s attached. My husband is a gear snob and he commented a few times on liking this one and it being well made. Some packs for outdoor activities have too many straps, buckles, stretchy strings - this one had just the right amount, functioned great. Highly recommend for quality, value, user friendliness.

This is a great lightweight pack. The straps are thin/minimal but if you don’t overload the pack with heavy items it’s not an issue. I ordered the green pack, it was not the color advertised, IT WAS MUCH BETTER GREEN COLOR! Love it!

Outlander Day Pack is useable but not great. Dislikes: requires small water bottles. Large Water Container slid out of holder. Problem for long hike. Didnt like closure device at top of bag--required rolling material and awkward closing device. Likes: lightweight. Comfortable. Easy to pack in luggage.

Perfect size bag for day hike. It is water resistant, so don’t count on things staying dry during down pours or when it falls in the water. The condensation from our bottles soaked through after a bit. Otherwise- roomy and comfy to wear.

Bought this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband & it has done everything but go unused! He adores this backpack because it’s so lightweight, it doesn’t make his back super sweaty & it holds SO much stuff. The thing he likes most about this backpack is that it’s waterproof & has several pockets/compartments. We are an active family & love to be outdoors - rain seldom stops us from enjoying the outdoors so this backpack is perfect if you want a bag that keeps certain items dry (like phones/cameras/clothes). He also loves that it balls up into a tiny bag when it’s time to stow it away
