These earring backs work so well! Ive bought this pair of heavy stud earrings a couple of times now, but I found that the backs kept falling off and caused me to lose an earring multiple times. Ever since I've been using these, Ive had no issues with losing earrings. The earring backs won't come off unless you pinch it, and I found it is very secure. They are all not irritating to wear for long periods of time. I think these are definitely a worthy investment, because they really prevent the loss of more expensive earrings. I would definitely reccomend, and I'm glad I found out about these

These are exactly what they advertise to be- super easy to put in and lock and they hold my earrings very securely; I even tried pulling on both the front and the back. Incredible product. So glad I bought them! I even slept with them in and they were very comfortable. They fit my thinnest posts, which is what I was looking for. If the material irritates my ears then I will update this review, but so far, I have only positive things to say about these!

I gave five stars as it is the most secure earring back I have ever used. They work very well. As one other reviewer stated: practice taking them on and off an earring in your hand before putting them on your ears. They are simple to use: slide on and it locks in place. Pinch the sides to remove it. There is a technique to it and it becomes easier the more you work with them. Just remember, you have to squeeze the sides to remove it because it's not coming off with squeezing those sides. They measure about 5mm in diameter. They are not super pretty. Someone standing behind you will be able to tell you have on a different type of earring back. I received one pair of silver-tone and one pair of gold-tone. The gold tone is not very deep in color so it is difficult to tell the difference between the two colors unless you are in bright light. They are much more affordable than taking your earring to the jeweler to be fitted with screwbacks or Lapossette backs. These can be used on any thickness of post (including thick vintage posts) provided the post is long enough to accommodate them. They have the advantage of being able to be used on all your earrings. They do need a little bit more space than a friction back, maybe a mm or so. They do have the potential to get caught in sweaters if you are not careful, with the little part you squeeze slightly sticking out. Others have noted in their reviews that you need to check them on a daily basis, but I have not had mine long enough to comment on that and I usually do not sleep in my good earrings. The only ways that I can think of to make them better would be: 1) somehow make them prettier, 2) offer an upgraded option in 14k instead of the base metal, and 3) include instructions for proper cleaning of them. Overall, I am very happy I ordered them and wish I would have found them years ago so I would have less single earrings.

The earring backings kept tightening each day and even after me loosening them manually every morning, the backings still dug into my daughters skin and have left the back and front side of her earring holes open wounds and a bloody mess. I had to clean her ears with hydrogen peroxide and neosporin and I’m not sure how many weeks it will take for her ears to heal before she’ll be able to wear earrings again. The earring backings kept tightening the earring so tight it will injure both the front and backside of your ears.

If you, like I, regularly despair the loss of post style earrings, this is your fix! I have been using mine for over a year and I just ordered two more sets, one as a gift, and one for use with additional earrings. Please don't misunderstand me, these locking backs are easily interchanged from one set of earrings to another, but I wanted to be sure that I always had some available. I was wearing a brand new pair of post earrings last year and suddenly realized one was gone. I immediately began my search and fortunately found the missing earring in my clothing. The backing was gone although I lucked up and found it later in the carpet. I decided right then that I was going to search until I could find a pair of earring backs that could assure that there was very little likelihood that I would lose an earring again. Enter the LOXTM Mega-Grip Backs, 2 pair pack, 1 gold, 1 silver. If you have long hair, or just have a history of losing valued post earrings, I recommend these highly. They are easily pushed on, but will not come off without compressing the sides of the earring back. They literally lock in on your post. (I have found that if the post is unusually thin that I must make sure that the backing has locked.) I am happy to say that any the past year, nary a single earring has been lost and I continue to be extremely satisfied. Many thanks to the company that designed this product; It was exactly what I needed.

So glad I got this! My backings were always falling off on my expensive gold earrings.. Almost lost my earrings so many times because of it and made me scared to even wear them regularly..I'm allergic to fake metal so it'd be tough losing them and expensive.. but the backings work amazing! The metal doesn't touch my ear just the plastic so it doesn't bother it.. They do easily tighten if you push them back your self..so the bad reviews of kids were obviously because of that and kids not being able to push the sides together to take them off or losen them..but overall definitely worth the purchase

i have a pair of diamond studs set in platinum. they are extremely heavy; set in platinum, each stone weighs a little over 2.33. needless to say, not the kind of thing you want to lose. i had them set in la pousette backs and while this system is very good, the backs are not large enough to stabilize the studs on my ears -so they droop. not a good look. the jeweler gave me a set of plastic discs to wear with them which fixes the problem, but it's a real hassle dealing with backs AND discs. i found another brand of earring backs that are basically larger plastic with a metal tube for the post. they held my studs nicely, but no locking feature. these earrings are expensive and i didn't want to take any chances. besides the lack of any locking feature, the metal (which was supposedly 14k) irritated one of my ears. so i found the LOX backs and figured i'd give them a try. there is no metal touching your ear at all, so no irritation. they feel great and are comfortable to wear. they do a decent job of stabilizing my studs so they don't droop ...as much. i can wear these, and they're the best solution so i'm going to stick with them. i just wish the plastic cushion on the back was a bit bigger. they really aren't much bigger than a standard earring back. the plastic discs i was wearing with the la pousette backs are about the size of dime. i wish these were that size ...they'd be perfect then, and worthy of a 5-star rating.

Very simple to put on and remove. I'm able to wear studs despite having previously stretched earlobes. These backs keep my studs secure without irritating my skin.

Super Ohrringverschluss. Ich hatte sie bestellt da ich mal wieder einen Verschluss verloren hatte. Zum Glück war der Ohrring noch da. Da ich mich aufgrund meines Jobs in einer Arztpraxis zu Arbeitsbeginn und Arbeitsende umziehen muss ist es mir schon häufiger passiert, dass ich den Verschluss meines Ohrsteckers verloren habe. Mit diesen Verschlüssen passiert das nicht mehr. Zum entfernen muss man den Verschluss an den Flügeln zusammendrücken. Dadurch ist der Verschluss gesichert. Super!

Dies ist meine erste Bewertung bei Amazon, obwohl ich schon hunderte von Sachen bestellt habe. Da ich so begeistert bin, lohnt es sich, diesen Artikel anderen zu empfehlen. Ich habe einige von diesen Ohrsteckern, die einen Schraubverschluss hinten haben. Nach kurzer Zeit hängt der Ohrstecker aber dann immer herunter. Das sieht alles andere als schön aus. Diese Verschlüsse für Ohrstecker habe ich entdeckt und mir gedacht, ich versuche es einmal damit. Ich kann nur sagen, sie halten hervorragend. Beim aufstecken verschließen sie sich und halten den Stecker perfekt am Ohr fest. Durch leichtes zusammendrücken öffnet sich der Verschluss, und man kann die Ohrringe somit leicht herausnehmen. Dieser Mechanismus funktioniert wirklich perfekt. Daher sehr empfehlenswert!

Un acierto, perdi la tuerca de los pendientes y estos se ajustan muy bien y no dan alergia, y agarran fuerte. Si lo necesito repetiré la compra.

I've got a few sets of earrings that if lost, would break my heart. These Lox ensure the earring stays put. Just make sure to store them well so you don't lose this little pieces. But fabulous!
