Not on 1 inch black poly tubing. You will need to order the next size up. I had the same issue.

Hello, yes it can, but for the application you mentioned , I won’t recommend it, you definitely need stainless steels ones,

How do you remove them?

Whereas you put these on by pushing the teeth together, you remove them by sliding the ends in different directions, perpendicular to the original pushing direction. For tight situations, use two pairs of pliers. Hold the ends of each side without blocking the teeth of the other end. This can be tricky, but it is easy when you've done it a few times. Move each end towards opposite ends of the tube; one up and the other down, or one left and the other right. These ties aren't very wide, and you just have to push far enough so the teeth slide out the sides of the locking channels area. There's no reason to cut and replace these unless you damage them.
