I bought this lightbox expecting something cheap that I'd have to 'deal with' and hope wouldn't break too soon, but I've been really pleasantly surprised.The biggest issue with softboxes in this price range is that they don't stay together. Spend a couple hundred bucks and you'll get one with an umbrella mechanism inside that you can let up and down in a second. With this one, you have to mess around, sticking bendy arms into speedring holes, and it can seem like quite a chore, but once you've worked out a routine step-by-step method for doing it, it's not too bad. If I was going to using it a lot over several subsequent days, I'd just leave it togther.The other minor issue is the way the front diffuser attaches. It wraps around the outside edges of the sofbox. That means you're not going to be able to easily get a grid on there. With more expensive boxes, the front panel is recessed when attached, so the eggshell grid can sit in front of it. Not that this box has a grid you can buy. You'd have to make it. So if you're thinking about doing a DIY grid for this, bear that in mind.The softbox comes with some cool accessories. It fits on a speedring, so you get one of those. You also get a speedlight adapter for speedring, which is a nice piece of gear. It attaches to your lightstand via an impressively solid ball head, which combined with the rotation ability of the speed ring gives you lots of position flexibility.I highly recommend this softbox, but only give 4 stars because it can be a pain to set up and take down, and I do have some mild concerns about how long the flexible arms will retain their spring and work as well as they do now.

Arrived in 5 days standard shipping. This is very sturdy. I looked and read reviews of tons of others products on here. This was the best for the money. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 is because of some poor stitching on the side seam where the casing covers the raw edge of the silver reflector material. It actually pulled away when putting it up. The threads just didnt catch all of the material for about two inches. An easy fix with a hand stitch or tape. The metal brackets are great.

no issues at all. This soft box is a great product. its heavy duty. whats on the picture is the actual item out of the box. i like this! no manual instruction but who cares. all the material are super heavy duty. you better check this one out...

No instructions and even with u Tube video from someone else it still took some time to figure out how to assemble. For the price it is great, but if you plan on moving it un assembled to other locations better to spend the bucks on an umbrella type soft box. I can do it in a couple of minutes now that I am experienced.

Good product and easy to use. Took a long time to get it though.

I gave it four stars because it came without instructions on how to assemble it. I did find a video on youtube that helped. Otherwise it worked great on a recent shoot.
