But what I did not read is:1- they do not work to transmit audio (so don't expect them to work with your wired Lightning earbuds)2-they do not work with data (so don't expect them to work with wired CarPlay)If you buy them with those caveats, they're great!

after a few months of use in the car, the outer protective sleeve slid off and does not stay on anymore. It is still usable. They're also small and get lost easily in the car. Good thing it was a 3 pack.

I'm using these to charge my iPad Pro that has the USB-C connector using one of my very many Lightning cables we have everywhere. As a plus your Apple Lightning cables can now charge any devise that has the USB-C connector as well. Very handy indeed!The adapters have worked flawlessly since I got them. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. And as the ad says, these cannot be used for data transfer. Only for charging.

I purchased this adapter for the purpose of charging my Apple Pencil generation one. It does not charge the pencil at all. That should be put in the description.

OK…. When are the computer companies going to quit changing the charging cable ends….NOT. Talk about planned obsolescence! and.. I only have about 10 new (old) lightening cables. (Many disappear when my son’s family visits).. so, I decided to try these. They work really well and they are small enough to look like part of the old cable, so it’s easy to just plug my phone in. (And remember to remove this adapter when everyone descends on me). They work great.
