Excellent product and fast shipping
I ordered this to remove a broken glow plug in a 2005 Sprinter. I watched the video before purchasing this and was concerned about being able to drill the glow plug out without messing up the treads in the head. I did cylinder #2 and feel confident I could do cylinders 1-4 with no problem. #5 would be harder to see and make sure everything was lined up properly but I would still give it shot. You needed a right angle drill for the job. Everything went flawlessly and I was surprised how easy it actually was. I was quoted $3500 to $5000 by my Sprinter dealer to do this job because they remove the engine to do this. I did 2 day shipping and it was here in 3-4 days

Well worth the money
This tool paid for itself in the first 30 minutes of use. I have an 02' Duramax that had 3 of the left land side glow plugs snap off. The step drill bit in the set and extension gave me exactly what was needed to drill them out. They actually came out with just the drill, I did not need to tap or use the extractor. I cleaned the threads with the supplied tap and handle. The new plugs fit right in. Did not need to remove the head and had all of the new ones on that side in less than an hour.

Tool broke.
tool was damaged on the first use. not of very good quality. would not recommend this tool to any one.

You get what you pay for!
Removed two broken glow plugs, very well made set. Did get charged duty on delivery which is never fun, but I forgave that for the sets quality. (used on a diesel promaster)

Nice box and quality equipment
Excellent in principle. Would not drill deep enough to extract the heater plug core which meant the vehicle shell and the cylinder heads had to be removed. But a cheap enough tool to at least potentially save you a lot of work.

Good kit.
Great kit. Works well and does what you hope. Only thing I found is that the instructions don't warn you not to drill too deep. I had a electrode come out and get stuck in the head....this could have been because I drilled a little deeper than I originally planned.Tools are well made and accurate. Drills are sharp and taps are accurate. Plastic box works well holding it all together. Suggest you oil the tools after use as it'll be stored for a while.
