I'm confused, this is listed as cosy shed, however, it actually appears to be cozy retreat, which i have been searching for....???

I never noticed this before. When I placed my order (back in 2019), the puzzle I received was exactly the one pictured. It is part of the "My Haven" series. When I did a google search, many puzzles in the My Haven series were called "My Cake Shed," "My Sewing Shed," "My Craft Shed," etc.--with "shed" being the common denominator. So this relaxing reading room scene is called "The Cosy Shed." I hope this helps.

What size are the puzzle pieces

They aren't real big but not real tiny either. They interlock nicely and are smooth fitting. Ravensburger is my favorite puzzle brand to do.
