What are the pros/ cons between cable and synthetic rope

I’ve never used synthetic, but it’s lighter, and doesn’t have the enertia energy if something breaks. My cable doesn’t rot, isn’t susceptible to heat and sharp objects. I prefer the cable due to my winch not being used for long periods of time.

Does this come with a wireless remote?

No, the winch will only be provided with a direct plug in remote.
