What is permanent hair dye?

Permanent hair dye is designed to provide long-lasting color that doesn't wash out. Superior Preference's fade-resistant formula offers vibrant, shiny color that lasts up to 9 weeks, leaving hair looking radiant and healthy.

What does fade-defying color mean, and how does it work in a permanent hair color formula?

Fade-defying color is created using advanced formulas like Superior Preference, which locks in color and prevents it from washing out or fading over time. Its oil-infused gel formula provides even application and vibrant, fade-resistant shading.

Does Superior Preference permanent hair color provide full gray coverage?

Yes, Superior Preference Permanent Hair Color offers seamless gray coverage from root-to-tip. If your primary concern is stubborn grays, we would recommend using our Excellence Crème Permanent Hair Color for 100% resistant gray hair coverage.

Which L’Oreal Preference shade should I choose?

There is a shade guide included on the back of each pack to show the color results depending on your starting hair color. Color result may vary depending on your starting hair color and condition.

What should I use to maintain my hair color?

To maintain your salon-inspired results, we recommend using L’Oreal Paris Everpure Bond Repair+ Shampoo and Conditioner, and deep condition weekly with Superior Preference Ultra Care Conditioner.
