The Backyardigans

I love this CD! I know all the words by heart and I am 30 years old! My Husband and I listen to it in the car with my 9 month old, but truthfully, I listen to it when she isn't in the car too! The Backyardigans is the most fabulous show and I talk about it all the time at My Gym during playgroup to all the other Moms. My Baby, Nat Rose, loves it and smiles when it comes on and kicks her feet. She knows all the songs. My Husband and I thought kids music would be corny, but the songs are fun and clean for kids. If you love the show, trust me, buy the CD! It is cheapest on Amazon and hard to find on stores (and when you do, it is almost $19!). I give it 5 + stars! Suzy CG

I bought this CD as a gift for my daughter and, much to my delight, it has turned out to be a treat for the whole family. I think this show does much to encourage a love of music in children and to expose them to the seemingly infinite variety of musical styles that exist in the world. The lyrics are cute and fun and I find myself singing along with my daughter. In fact, I sometimes find these songs running through my head while I'm at work. If I ever met the creator of this show, I would thank her profusely for dreaming up something so gentle and sweet and fun for children that is also entertaining for parents.

Great cd! Clear sound! My daughter loved it ! She transferred the songs to her mp3 player, and she listened to them throughout our roadtrip! Would recommend!

I know Backyardigans aren't the in thing any more, so when I came across this I had to have it. The backyardigans is STILL one of the few kids shows that doesn't make me want to poke my ear drums out. I know some people think they should have picked better songs or whatever, but I'm just so happy that another one of my kids likes a show I can enjoy too. This CD is good for dancing around the house, or listening to in the car. Some days anything to help a cranky kid (and mom) through the day is a blessing.

If you are like me and dont like to generally buy the "childish annoying" kids music this is for you. I have NEVER wanted to buy some of the other kids music out ther for the pure fact it was annoying. They seem to push out mediocre CDS from favorite characters just for kicks. Others often lack any substance that make you want to listen to them more then once. That is where Backyardigans is different. Fun songs, that are upbeat, catchy and not annoying. BAckyaridgan taps it's musical inspiration from all genres out there that we listen to. They are not simple silly kids music. THey are refreshing!

This is a great CD for Backyardigans fans! My daughter absolutely loves this CD. She is 2 and still sitting rare facing, so the car ride is not the that much fun for her. Ever since we bought this CD, she just requests this CD to be played as soon as she gets into the car and sings along. We also downloaded it to our iPod to play at home. The only downside is that we only have to listen to "Questing Questing" a thousand times a day...

This album makes long(or even short)car trips more fun. Our three year old grandson is so busy listening, he doesn't get figety. Whoever chose the music to record, did a good job, as it is not loud, and your little one can easily nap if he or she is tired. An excellent choice for Backyardigan fans.

We got this cd having never watched the show. The songs are cute and catchy and my kids love dancing and pretending with them! A great toddler/preschooler or older cd!
