I do not see the directions for use. What are the directions for use?

The best way to use BHB is 3 fold: 
1) If you are burning glucose and want to burn ketones ... use this.  The transition from glucose to ketones can be rough if you are not adapted to the ketone diet.  Hack that transition by using BHB.  The fuel of BHB last 4 hours.  Dose every 4 hours as long as you are awake. 
2) If I have a "mental" performance that I am worried about, I will dose before the event.  My energy stays up.  My mind stays focused, and unlike sugar, I am back to my normal ketosis world when the fuel has burned through my mitochondria. 
3) Hangovers.  In my case, if I binge on carbs, it leaves me heavy-headed and feeling hung over.  To me, it feels much like an alcohol hangover does.  No matter the cause of the hangover, a scoop of BHB mixed with cream and ice fixes the symptoms.

How many carbs in a serving?

Correct.  There are KETONES in this product ... but not carbs.  The fuel that gives it 5 calories per serving is the ketone body called Betahydroxybuterate.  No carbs.

Each container has 17 scoops - but I usually only have a 1/2 scoop when I use it. 
I like mixing the ketones with fat.  Specifically, I mix them with Heavy whipping cream and ice. Mixing with fat seems to lessen the GI upset.  Ketones salts can cause the rumbles if you are not used to them.  I don't use them often enough to grow used to them.  
I personally use this when I need a solid 4 hours of concentration or when I have fallen off the keto wagon and need to reset.  As time goes on, I need this support less and less.

Question 4

Why put artificial flavors in it? Can't you make it with only "natural flavors"  and without gums/fibers (as others do)?

There are only THREE ketone bodies that the body uses as fuel.  Acetoacetate, Beta-hydroxybutyrate, and Acetone...  Artificial flavor does mask the BHB taste and you would not like it by itself.  Natural flavors mostly come with added sugars/carbohydrates which are counter to what you are trying to do and that is get your mitochondria used to using exogenous ketones so when you begin making your own ketones, they have been already primed to know what to do with the ketones.  You should only use this for a month or so to help get you into lowering carbs, making your own ketones which will take over for what you're supplementing by using this BHB.  Good luck - you CAN do this!
