G4 Trash Gator, 33"

This is not a flimsy piece of metal. It is commercial quality.The price does fluctuate a bit but worth waiting for the lower price.

I use it to pick up sweet gum balls that blow over from my neighbors tree. I don't have to bend over.

Having a disabled mother, my household goes through grabbers like bread. I am always replacing one usually every other week. They all break in the plastic jaws. So I went searching for a reasonable length (33 or shorter) all metal jawed grabber. Surprise, this is literally the only one available on Amazon out of the several thousand grabber reachers. The first one I ordered around Christmas. Mom uses it everyday, not for trash as the name implies, but to aid her in daily activities such as cooling, dressing, etc. She had yet to damage it in any fasion. Even though slightly heavier than her plastic ones, this one has become her favorite. So much so that she had me order a spare in case the model gets discontinued or "modified". While more costly than the plastic reacher grabbers, the quality is well worth the additional price. I feel the manufacturer has done their product a disservice by calling it Trash Gator. If marketed to the disabled communities, this item would be always out of stock!

This "grabber" opens wider than any in the stores and can, therefore, pick up larger items. It's also very comfortable to use. I accidentally left my previous trash gator out by my trash barrels after retrieving something from one of the barrels. I surmise someone either took it or that the trash trucks picked it up. I was at a loss and so disappointed when searching in stores for a replacement. I was finally able to find this on-line and was so happy. I know it sounds silly, but when this item arrived and I saw that it was the same as my previous "grabber" I was overjoyed and felt complete. I highly recommend this item.

First grabber I’ve had grabbed that was strong enough to last me each day on the highway, rubber tips disappeared really quickly and when contacted about replacing them, the seller claims to have no idea that the tool exists, claimed it didn’t exist and that they didn’t sell the tool? I found some trash to create grips that worked better and other than bending the tips back into place after a 10 pound branch she’s really solid.

well built and sturdy, worth the price.

I'm 6.0ft tall and this is the perfect size for me not to need to bend over at all. Great build quality. This will last a lifetime if you treat it right. This thing can easily pick up ten pound rocks. I just use it for trash. Unfortunately, I live right by an urban school and a lot of candy wrappers get blown into my yard. This helps out a lot.

A very durable quality picker-upper, should last for years to come. Without wearing work gloves, the handle becomes a little painful to use in a short amount of time. I will probably wrap it in cloth and electric tape.
