Work great!
These fit comfortably, move with me, and I no longer get bruises on my hips when falling on packed hard snow! Tailbone protection has been great, I'm happy I got this upgrade and 4 trips to the slopes snowboarding and they're worth the cost

Nope. Just don’t.
So not worth the price, or any price really. Wish I could return them but that window has passed and I didn’t realize how poor quality they were until the second use. The “G force” or whatever stupid name technology is just marketing, and does absolutely nothing. I fell on my trochanter (side hip) and these impact shorts were utterly useless. I couldn’t walk for days from that one fall until I had multiple acupuncture sessions. These shorts don’t have any padding where it’s needed and the pads are really misplaced, not that the pads even “absorb impact” like they claim. I agree with the reviews which say the tailbone pad is misaligned and it doesn’t even cover my sacrum. I borrowed a friend’s impact shorts which were like $50 and sooo much better than these. Seriously disappointed in burton for charging so much for a truly terrible product.

Helpful for snowboarding beginner
Bought for snowboarding lessons. Definitely helped but ... 3 stars because pattern is awful (only bought because Amazon was out of black at the time), sizing is a little off (waisted elastic is tight so even though I wear a 0/2 I needed a medium but the rest of the pant was then a little roomy) and more tailbone padding would have been helpful - the hip padding was really useless. But all in all I would say item - or item like it - is a must if you are learning to snowboard and you are not naturally well padded.

Comfortable and does not limit mobililty for snowboarding
The print pattern is ugly... black was sold out...However in terms of comfort and protection it was really good. I wore it over my base layer and wore my ski pants over it. I didn’t even relize that I was wearing the shorts.Saved my tailbone! For reference, I bought size Medium. I’m 5’6, weight around 128 lb, athletic built. It was a bit roomy around the waist...I think size Small would have fit well but was not available.

I liked that they are very slim and they really protected ...
I used these learning how to snowboard and I took some solid hits to the ground, these saved my as* literally. I liked that they are very slim and they really protected well. I ordered some other impact shorts before these and sent them back. They were either too bulky or didn't fit snug. These ones were perfect and comfortable too.

Worst impact shorts money can buy
These are the worst impact shorts money can buy, and at 2-4x the price of others it’s a complete scam. The padding is thin and only covers small sections of your backside. if you fall with them on, they probably won’t cover the spot and if they do they’re too thin to offer any meaningful protection.Burton should be ashamed to have its name on this ridiculously awful product.

Minimal protection.. and pricey
It really doesn’t protect the right places. Coverage is really minimal and sit really high up on the hip. It’s literally just your hip bone and your butt. Anywhere between that is vulnerable..... I’m sure there are better products out there.

Definitely recommend if you're prone to falling
Why didn't I get these my first season of boarding? Well, ya live and learn, right? This is my second season boarding and I've added wrist guards and these crash pants to my gear. These have saved my @$$ several times so far this year! So far, no huge bruises on my backside *fist pump* I've fallen lots of times and I know I would have been in a lot more pain if I didn't have these pants on. These are also comfortable with really good range of motion.
