Just like the one I carried in the Marine Corps in the 60s. Came razor sharp. Strong steel make a great camping knife. But I put mine on the wall with my Marine Corps stuff.

Definitely not a K bar, but the steel is pretty good. So far, I have put my own edge on it, sliced a tomato, used it to debone a ham, and I was able to make a feather stick without having to re-sharpen it. I think the leather on the sheath and the handleis as good as anything else I’ve gotten like it and it will be oiled and then we’ll see how we and tear handles it but I imagine this will be very good if you’re willing to do the work. I paid $17 for it and I think they gave me a terrific deal. Kudos.

Had it for about a year now and I have to say one of the best knives I have ever had. Been using it as like a pseudo Hammer when I'm at work is never broken or given up once. The sharpness loses his edge a little bit too easily, but it's easily fixed. It's comfortable and the size makes it useful for any scenario. It's huge. I've gotten looks in public for having it on my waist. People ask me why do you have such a big knife?

I have a KA-bar and this one is darn to close to it in its features. I cannot understand how the one reviewer said it wouldnt take an edge--I spent less than a minute with this knife and a handy sharpener and it now has a very sharp edge. The only downside is the apparent varnishing of the handle. Its still a good knife but this feature was not necessary. The sheath is ok but not great. For these two reasons I deducted a star. I would still recommend it however.

Me sorprendió mucho el producto, ya que si bien es una réplica, bastante económica, cuando lo tuve en mis manos se me hizo mucho mejor de lo que esperaba.Tiene un aspecto rústico en comparación de otros cuchillos con el mismo precio pero precisamente eso es lo bonito, si ves fotos de la 2 Guerra verás que hasta la funda se ve muy similar a los originales.Estoy muy contento con mi compra!

Sturdy knife, well worth the price.

I got my best man a knife for standing in my wedding. It was for day-of pictures and hes always been into war history, specifically Vietnam, and so a naturally this was the one.Solid design and came very sharp. It holds an edge well. Very sturdy when holding.Only complaints is that the sheath is very cheap leather and seems like the same care and attention to detail spent on the knife wasn't the same on the sheath. The knife also came looking greasy and dirty but a couple of minutes spent cleaning fixed it.
