I waited 6 months after installation to write this review, so that I can give an accurate one. Overall: If you want good quality clamps at 1/10th of the cost of others available on the market, these are for you. BUT, you’ll need to do a bit of extra work before installation, to increase their grip power. Hopefully, the huge cost savings you’re getting with these will make that worthwhile. The specifics: I used these with very large pieces of glass for my staircase railing system that I installed, as shown in the pictures. Each piece of glass is about 64” long, 32” high and 3/8” thick (weighs over 50lbs per the glass manufacturer). I used 4 clamps for each piece and they have held up with no issues for 6 months now. However, I had read all the reviews when I was buying these, with concerns about the grip not being the best. Frankly I didn’t even test them out out-of-the-box to verify those claims. I was installing these myself and I didn’t want to do it only to have to redo it after the fact. So I played it safe from the get go, and ordered some thin general purpose rubber (50A Durometer, 0.062" thickness, to be exact). Got a 12”x12” sheet for $7 off amazon. Cut it up in small pieces that match the sizes of the rubber pieces included with these clamps (about 1”x2” each), and inserted them underneath the rubber pieces that are included with the clamps, on both sides. This added a total 1/8” thickness to the rubbers, per clamp, giving it that extra grip power needed. Ultimately, yes it did need extra work and customization, to make them perfect. But at this price point, and considering how simply you can bypass the issue, I couldn’t justify paying more than 10-15 times the price elsewhere.

Work fine but they don’t hold the glass right I put some extra plastic to hold the glass but the weld inside the bracket start broken need more weld !!

We purchased these clamps to mount plexiglass partitions in or friends restaurant. They're made for glass so we had to add a litter filler to accommodate the thinner plexiglass. They worked out perfectly. They look so much better than most of the partitions installed in other places. Our friend was very happy!

I never write reviews for anything, I believe a good product sells itself. But this product deserves a horrible review. If I could rate them -10 stars I would. These clamps are not worth a penny per clamp. They cant even hold a 3x3 inch price of glass in place without it slipping through the clamp. I bought over 100 of these for a big glass job for my business, worst mistake I've made in my career. Totally screwed me and will never purchase these, let alone from this company, ever again. You will Thank me later, don't waste your time or money with this product .

Some people love them, others think these are not worth the time. My experience was difficult. I had 10 mm glass and the rubber pads were too thick to be able to screw the back plate closed. I McGyvered a jig to sand down the pad thickness on a belt sander to make it work, but don't try that at home folks! I had to do this as when I wrote Kamtop to get support, they never wrote me back. I was past my return date so couldn't send them back to Amazon. If you are still thinking about buying these, test them on the glass thickness you want to use as soon as these clamps arrive. If they say they are made for 10 mm glass, don't trust that statement. If they are too thick or too thin, return to Amazon before the window closes. Don't bother trying to work with the seller.
