Is this similar in taste and texture to the old thorntons butter tablet?

It's a bit different, but still excellent - this one is harder, with a nice buttery aftertaste. The Totally Tempting tablet here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FTLRPB9?ref=myi_title_dp&th=1 is closer to the Thorntons style.

I can't really answer this question because it's so yummy we'd eaten it all within a week! Sorry!
