Pistachios, In-Shell Salt Free, 5 Pound

I have purchased these pistachios for five years, now – more than 25 times! – and haven’t looked back once. These are excellent pistachios; moreover, they come at a very reasonable price. At various grocery stores (Hannaford, Market Basket, Star Market) and countless local specialty purveyors, I find pistachios that are often only available in the salted form and/or are not dry roasted. What is more, the ones from the store are often inferior in quality – small, misshapen nuts, some of which have been scorched in the roasting process, and that often have a rancid flavor that nuts can develop after being in storage for a long time – and, even if they come from a big-name seller (like Wonderful), they are not, in fact, “wonderful” or affordable. The ones I see at the store – and on e-stores like Nuts.com -- are usually upwards of $15/pound. In contrast, these nuts from Fiddyment are always of high quality: bursting with flavor, evenly roasted, and robust in size, too! For $9/pound, I am awestruck by the obviously superior quality to that of the aforementioned store-bought nuts. To boot, I have had positive exchanges with Fiddyment management the one and only time I experienced a problem (a minor issue, no less), I contacted them and they promptly wrote back offering to help fix the issue. And, indeed, they did: instead of questioning my claim or asking for further information, they offered to provide me with a new, fresh bag at no cost. It arrived within several days of our correspondence. If you are looking for pistachios, these are the ones to buy! (And no, Amazon did not pay me to write this review…I just LOVE this product.)

I don’t write reviews that often, but I really like these pistachios. The freshness and flavor are really good, and $49 sounds like a lot, but quality food that you put in your body isn’t cheap, plus I bought the 5lb bag. Before dinner, every day I have a beer and a couple handfuls of pistachios, and I give all the really tough ones to open to the squirrels in my yard, instead of destroying my nails and teeth trying to open them. Now since I received these pistachios last week, the squirrels don’t get squat! They’re all easy to open so far, and none for my little buddies. (I do give them some peanuts in the shell though, so please, no one call Animal Protection Services on me) Anyway, I love these nuts and will definitely be buying them again, instead of the other ones I’ve been buying for years. Five stars, and two thumbs up!

Dont buy HORRIBLE I would even say. Bought these a few years back and they were delicious. Bought again a 5lb bag and they were terrilbe. Not fresh at all and had some weird taste. Was going to try to return but did not want to go through the hassle.

Tasty, as usual, but too many empty shells. Great heavy duty bag and zipper, unlike other sellers.

I bought salt free because I bought them for my parrots. 🤣 Funny it’s asking if I liked salt content. 😂

We have been ordering these, and they are fresh and tasty, but this past couple of orders, we had many empty shells. This last order we had over 200 empty shells!
