Brilliant product
Love this hot water bottle. It does need to be filled carefully to avoid splashback but have found the trick is to not fill it very full so that it is not too heavy when on the back of the neck and shoulders. It cools down faster than a standard hot water bottle but that's to be expected due to its shape. It provides great warmth and effective pain relief, and for me has definitely cut down on headaches and use of painkillers for said headaches.

Could be worse, but could also be better.
Good points; It's cheap, and it does what it's intended to do. The heat to the neck and shoulders is quite effective for softening tight muscles.Bad point; Using a kettle is okay, but a water boiler or even a small basin is not ideal. E. G a small tea point at your work...The fill hole is in the most stupid place ever. the bottle is a U shape, like a toilet bend. It doesn't take a scientist to realise that the fill hole needs to be place on the side (like other neck hot water bottles)As the near-boiling water goes into the hot water bottle, it creates a vacuum of air in the opposite end of the bottle. As the volume of hot water increases, the air has less space....the result; the air forces it way out and it starts to resemble a volcano erupting with each bubble of air. Resulting in burns.Or it bends/folds (as it is quite flimsy) and that also results in burns. The silver lining being that burnt hands is a effective distraction from the muscle pain that the hot water bottle is intended to relieve.Sure, it is possible to fill up without getting boiling water splashed on your fingers. It can also be filled up without having the air force the water to bubble, if you add little bits of water, and start rotating the bottle whilst filling. It's not convenient. The second negative would be that the seam of the hot water bottle is on what I'd describe as the most inconvenient place. It follows along the edge of the water bottle which makes contact with the skin. This can sometimes feel VERY uncomfortable. It's difficult to explain what I mean by this, but if you buy it, you'll probably get the jist of what I mean. Basically, the seam could do with being positioned 90degrees either way. Conclusion; I've been using it awhile. I have struggled filling this up in multiple locations. I have had multiple burns from it's poor design. I would recommend getting one which has a fill hole on the side, rather than the peak. However, when it is full, it works great and will help you with your pains. So, the choice is entirely yours.

Cosy
Purchased this for my 88 year old mother in law who had been walking round with a normal shape hot water bottle strapped to her. She is so pleased with this neck water bottle. She says it’s heaven and she can get on with things easier while wearing it

Great concept, but not the most comfortable to use
I suffer from periodic neck and upper back pain, often when I'm sitting at a desk or reading on a chair or sofa, and have previously used microwavable wheat bags to ease this. Finding myself without a microwave, I was looking for something that would do the trick but could be filled with hot water. The concept of this is therefore great, and it feels like a well-made product for the money. It's a little difficult to fill (take care!), but once filled with hot water, it delivers heat directly where it's needed. However, I found that the shape, weight and design of the product meant that it encouraged quite bad posture - in fact, it is difficult to sit as one normally would, and the side of the bottle digs in to your neck a little bit. This isn't disastrous, but it has on occasion led to increased pain rather than decreased pain after prolonged use. I've therefore found that for me this is either best used for short periods (5-10 minutes) only, or while lying down, when the negative effects are not felt. I still use it, but once I get a microwave back I will be investing again in a softer, more flexible equivalent.

Dangerous!
Difficult to fill up without burning oneself! as it turns on itself and expels the hot water . I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Bliss
This was bought as I was diagnosed with two frozen shoulders - ouch!!! Instant warmth on the affected parts was great. The shape of it necessitated (after a burnt hand of course) holding it under your arm like a bagpipe for accident free filling 😳 but, all in all, a great purchase.

I don't see what the issue is?....
Bought this as I had a stiff neck and shoulders. I filled it half with very hot water, put the stopper on and swirled it around to get rid of any air in the lower half then topped it up. It sat nicely on my neck and shoulders and didn't leak. Neck felt better. Money well spent.

Hot water bottle
I bought this for my husband and he uses it with cold water around his neck when he mows. We live in Florida and the heat is almost unbearable at times so anything that will help to cool him off while he is mowing is great. Seems to work okay. Doesn't leak.

La housse est parfaite
Mais au niveau des cervicales le poid et la rigidité de la bouillotte rendent le tout parfaitement inconfortable.
