QMX Firefly: Little Damn Heroes: Shepherd Book Maquette

Other reviews are accurate: he does come with two sets of arms. Swapping the arms out is a little tight but, after the Jayne LDH with his extra loose arm seating, I count this as a blessing. My only qualm isn't an issue with this piece but the quality of those that have come before: Book is a little smaller, less animated-style and looks a little awkward shelved with Kaylee, Jayne and Mal (don't have Wash or Inara yet, so can't speak to them). But his scale and proportions and facial features look so amazing it makes me wish the rest in the series were less cartoony.

I am a huge fan of Firefly and Serenity. QMx really hit the mark with this Shepherd Book maquette! What the description doesn't tell you is that he has a second set of arms. One set holding a Bible and a sawed-off shotgun. The other set holding his hands in prayer. They inter-change at the shoulder and both look fantastic. If you are a fan of the show and love the dual nature of this character then this is a must have.

I love Firefly so much and Book is my favorite character. I was sad when it came with his right arm praying already broken and when I switched to the arm with the shotgun that broke too!!! Why is this so poorly constructed that the arms broke so easily? I have no idea and they won't let me replace it, I can only get a refund. There may be no power in the verse that can stop the cowboys in space serenity crew, but that is not the case with this replica!!!!

A 10 +++ collectible - I'm a Firefly/Serenity fan, these will be great for my collection ... I think we are called Browncoats!

As always this is a brilliant item and while not cheap it is brilliant for the collector. Another gem to add to my firefly collection
