Somewhat debatable effect.
These work really well on some printer systems and have no effect on others at all. If you have the salmon skin type pattern on your prints, these might help if you put them on all your motors. I primarily bought these to test on several of my different printers. Because they plug in between your main driver board and the motors, they are very easy to install, just need a place to mount them. Don't need cooling fans. All these do is put 8 diodes inline with the motor lines.I tried them on a JGAurora A5 which did clean up some print anomalies slightly but not completely. The Monoprice Maker Select Plus showed no sign of improvement although it had only a little to be corrected to start with. The Tronxy X5SA showed some strong skin patterns prior to installation of these boards that these did nothing for at all to correct. My Artillery Sidewinder X1 and Monoprice Mini Delta had no imperfections to start with and weren't tested. So since the only place these had any effect at all was on the JGAurora A5, I moved them back there and left them installed on that printer. So I'm not impressed. But I will give credit to these being soldered well and very easy to install. Just don't see them as very useful. I've read about the differing opinions on the validity of using these and am just not convinced they help much at all. But at least they don't hurt anything if you wanted to try them on your printer to see if they fix your issues. So nothing wrong with the quality of workmanship. They are after all just 8 diodes soldered on a board with 2 connectors. So after deciding to give 3 or 4 stars, I decided that the product itself was good just a somewhat unsubstantiated result. I give it a somewhat reluctant 4 stars.

Vibration Town
Put them on my Ender 3 Pro. Easy to attach and have nice jumper cables. Right away I noticed a vibrating noise when I had it go "Home". The motors worked fine however they were moving in a way that cause a vibration. I did 3 prints and it never changed. It's rather annoying since the printer is so quiet with the new MB. I noticed no difference in print quality from without them. I was surprised because you can physically feel the vibration in the chassis. So maybe I did something wrong but it doesn't matter with direction you hook them up. From my point of view it was a waste of time and money. Perhaps you may have different results.

Great product, but not "exactly" the same as the product photo..
It's not a huge deal to me, but I figured it might be for someone.. the product photo shows branded chips, and the actual product arrived with generic/no name chips. I don't care, but some people are sensitive to this sort of thing.. also.. on a positive note, another thing that doesn't match the photo is the solder job! The actual product came with nicely soldered joints, and everything is done really nicely, unlike the terrible solder joint shown in the photo. Im happy about this difference.

No recognizable change in print quality with Ender 3 Pro
Using an Ender 3 Pro, I did not see any change in print quality with these installed compared to after upgrading to the Silent motherboard 1.1.5. Thankfully, they were pretty cheap and I did not suffer much of a loss other than time of installation.

The prints are smoother. Mixed results on stepper motor noise.
I installed a set of these on my ROBO3D printer and there was a noticeable print quality increase, The biggest change was the how quite the stepper motor noise got. I can't hear them anymore. So I decided to put them on my Maker Select Plus IIIP, The motors are very noisy on this printer, unfortunately it did not help with the noise level on this printer, On a good note I did notice the prints are smoother looking. Still worth the price. I would buy them again.

Good purchase experience, definitely recommend.
I purchased these and some TMC2208 stepper drivers at the same time. I found out the hard way that if you upgrade the stepper drivers to the 2208’s you will NOT need the TL-Smoothers. So while I did buy the smoothers, I was not able to use them. The item was received as described and on time.

Getting better quality prints at a great price.
I was curious as to how good these smoothers would work, so just out of curiosity I got a set for my AM8 custom build. After updating the firmware, tweaking all the settings, and setting it to print, my prints, while better, still weren't the greatest. So I installed the smoothers and printed again, and now my prints are as smooth as butter. No more ghosting, and the layers look like one solid piece. No more tell-tale print lines. Very glad I made this choice. Running a Tri-Gorilla 32 bit main board with DRV8825 stepper drivers. This has been a satisfactory purchase, but other experiences may vary.

Good Product
I haven't been able to measure any difference in print quality, but I also haven't run very many tests. Easy install, and they seem to work.
