Case-Mate CM019475 Phantom Case with Belt Clip for Apple iPhone 4,iPhone 4S - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Raspberry/Lime

if i were to rate this phone just on the fit and the protection, i would give it 5 stars. I am extremely pleased with those aspects. However, two other things are driving me to replace it. First, i bought it in pink, and it started looking dirty on the 3rd day of use. It looks horrible and that drives me crazy. Could i clean it? Probably, but i am extremely busy and require a low-maintenance phone case. Secondly, i use a belt clip a lot and this clip is VERY poorly designed. Even though it swivels, the clip itself is positioned well off-center, as if It is meant for vertical positioning only. My need is to wear it in a horizontal position, and it flops around because it is off balance when placed horizontally. I have had a lot of phone belt clips but have never seen one designed like this. Overall, this wasn't a great purchase for me.

This case is really cute initially. But the color gets easily stained. When I put the phone in my back pocket of jeans for instance, the case becomes stained a subtle blue. Eventually the color became permanently stained and the case just didn't look very good. Also the screen protector for scratched fairly early on. But while the case was looking good I did like it. It has a really smooth feel and all buttons worked great. But it looked kind of worn within a few months. I would not buy again for this reason.

I had to stop using this because I love using a few ihome devices and it was a pain to have to take the cover off each time. If you never need to remove the cover, this definitely does the job, just wasn't the right case for me.

I like this case. It seems to be just as sturdy and protective as the Otterbox Defender which I also bought. The Case-Mate is less boxy, feels smaller and comfortable when holding. A little tricky getting on (maybe less than the Otterbox) but fits nice and tight once on. (I left my screen protector on underneath the case and find no problems) It has covers for every opening and the plastic front screen protector. The hole for the camera is wide enough and does not interfere with the flash. I have not dropped my iphone4 with this case on yet , but if I do...I believe it would protect it well. I recommend this case.

This case was not what I thought it would be so I sent it back. It was okay, just not what I wanted.

Case arrived in perfect condition. Very hard to put on phone, covers so it creates a tunnel sound, and cannot hear other person.

I was looking for a replacement case and I wanted a bright color becuase my other 2 cases were black. This bright color is easy to find but it gets really dirty. For instance I put it in my back pocket of my jeans so now the edges of the case are dirty and I cannot get them clean. The case is very durable. I like how it has the plastic covering to protect the screen.

I recently purchased myself & my daughter iPhones & though I'm generally very careful with my phone, accidents happen. I purchased a couple inexpensive silicone/hard combo cases but they gathered dust & didn't really make me feel confident that if my phone dropped that it would be ok. I checked out Otterbox & a few other cases (including the Case Mate POP series) which was nice, pretty, etc, but when I read the reviews on this case, I figured why not? It arrived much earlier than expected, I love that it has a built in screen protector, it is bulky with the belt clip attached, but I won't be using that part very often, if at all. The ports are all accessible without having to remove the case. I can easily type, take pictures, talk on the phone & be assured that my investment is safe! The Raspberry/Lime color is deeper than shown on line, but I think it looks better in person. I highly recommend these cases, I'd love to see more color choices because I will definitely purchase more!
