Very useful for outlet/switch boxes
I really like these wire nuts, they are very durable and allow you to pigtail your ground in crowded boxes. Wish I had found them sooner!

Wire compatibility chart on box
The product listing is a little vague on what number and size of wires can be used. Thankfully the box has a nice chart on the back (see attached photo). Super handy for the home handyman who doesn't have things memorized like a professional electrician. Exactly what I needed for changing from standard to GFCI outlets in an older house. The GFCI feed other outlets, but only have a terminal for one ground wire. I didn't want to add a pigtail in the box, since that takes up more room. And didn't want to buy more wire on top of the cost of the GFCI's. Some of the old outlets had the ground wires just twisted together. So this nut makes it easier to bring it up to code.

A must have
Goofy as these may seem, they meet requirements for securing ground wires in device boxes. Many times you will open up a device box to simply find all the grounds twisted together and that's it. In reality the NEC does not require these "greenies" specifically, but, the EGCs are required by Art 250-8 to be secured together by "some approved listed means." These are a real pleasure to work with and a huge piece of mind. Not cheap, but worth the price of admission when you know that everything is installed with confidence once these are twisted on.
