Essential to my husband's survival
After years of trying to find ways to live with my husband's snoring (and ensuring he lives too!), I have found these wee beauties. No longer do I and the cat have to decamp to the spare room in the middle of the night! They are noise reducing rather than noise cancelling, which is preferable as who doesn't want to hear the fire alarm? So if you want to hear nothing then you'll need something else, and someone to wake you up if there's a fire. But to aid a good night's sleep, get these. They can take a bit of work to get right. The instructions say to use one in each ear. That's OK if you have big ears, but mine are in proportion to my height which is 5ft nothing on a good day. Other reviewers have suggested splitting them in half, but I've found using a third each is better for me, so take some time to play around until you find the right size for you. Make sure your hair isn't in the way, that prevents them forming a full seal in your ear. Once you put them in hold them in place while you count ten seconds, then roll your finger gently away so the ear plugs stay in place. Then drift off to a lovely sleep! As I've said, they only reduce the noise rather than cancel it, so they you can still hear your hubby snoring when he pulls you in close and snores right next to your ear. For that I recommend training the cat to sleep in between you to act as a barrier! Sweet dreams!

Excellent quality Ear plugs!
Sick and tired of the neighbours dog howling at the moon so decided to go on a hunt to save my sanity. I've tired foams and various silicones and had no luck but when I came across these. All I can say is, my eyes are no longer bloodshot and the bags under my eyes have gone! These earplugs are a god send... They've muted the neighbours mutt. Ive been sleeping like a baby. They are easy to use and stay in all night. They are reusable, just have to keep them clean and wash them. Very pleased with the quality. I'm finally at peace, so so glad I found these!

Mostly okay for side sleepers
I sleep on my side so finding the right earplug is quite difficult. I must say that these earplugs are much better than the standard foam earplugs: they are comfortable and don't fall out. They let a bit more noise in compared to the foam ones though it's not loud enough to wake me up - living under the Heathrow flight path is quite a bonus! The only disadvantage is that the mould tends to become less tight during the night meaning that sounds get in. I think I'm going to try other silicon earplugs before I buy these ones again.

Do not block out loud noises
I bought these on the strength of the reviews. Sadly, they are not fit for my purpose. My neighbours have a young baby in the bedroom opposite mine and, as they all do when sick or upset, she cries. These earplugs do drown out some of that noise but it is still noticeable and enough to keep me awake. I have found single use earplugs that can block the noise of her crying out completely but have yet to find any reusable ones that do the same. Be warned - if the noise you want to block out is VERY loud, think again. Otherwise, they are very comfortable and easy to use.

AMAZING.
I wish I'd found these sooner. If, like me, you have what an audiologist described as "the smallest ear canals she's ever seen" and normal ear plugs don't work for you, these are definitely a perfect alternative. As long as you follow the instructions and are willing to have a little bit of patience with them, they work perfectly. After you put them in, they continue to swell for a little while and do sometimes pop out so you will need to play around with them a little, but once they're in, they're IN. As the leaflet states, they aren't noise CANCELLING, they are noise REDUCING. And they certainly do that well. I work a mixture of days and nights and also live with an inconsiderate housemate who doesn't understand the concept of "quiet" and sits shouting at his Xbox when I'm trying to sleep for my shift and these have made a world of difference... They've stopped me ending up arrested for what I believe to be totally justifiable murder. That in itself is a selling point. Seriously, they work. And they work great.

I really wanted these to be as good as their other products...
I use this company's nasal strips because I am informed by the wife, that upon occasion, I am prone to snoring! A scurrilous accusation I feel, but in order to keep matrimonial harmony I tried the strips. Those are truly outstanding and work well. Now in order to aid her sleep she has taken to using ear plugs of a night and I thought these would be an improvement over the standard (yellow 3M) ones she has. Alas they are really not good. They are basically very soft silicone balls that are way too large to begin with, so you have to tear sections off to get the correct size. Then you mould it around to fit in your ear. It is supposed to sit mainly in the outer ear with a little in your ear canal. This is one of those times where theory meets reality, and theory loses - as usual. It just does not sit it place, it is uncomfortable and ultimately, a complete waste of money. This is not a criticism of the company as I rate them, but this product is a real duffer. Sorry, just stick to standard ear plugs, and in particular those made by 3M.

Comfortable and flexible
Great earplugs. Soft and flexible, can mould into your ears to create a snug fit seal. The most comfortable earplugs I've come across, and I have sensitive ears and am a side sleeper. Recommended.

A must for those in hospital!!
I've been in hospital a while, and I've worked my way through sleepless nights and other ear plugs. I had a set of these lent to me and I followed the instructions given - simple and easy. Now whilst they were brilliant when it came to the snoreers on the bay (all 4 of them) - I was pleasantly surprised, the occasional loud snort got through! But hey these were working against the general noise of the ward, the staff, the snoring, etc ... I can put up with the occasional snort - so for me this has now lead to the best few nights sleep since I received them. I'm still on my first set, so they also stay put overnight. As a person with long hair I was concerned my hair would get caught or stick into them - but so far that hasn't happened. So all I can really say, is a product that has pleasantly suprised me - considering I've put it to its paces in a hospital setting both day and night. It has bought me peaceful sleep leaving me ready to face the day.

Ne fonctionne pas / they don’t work
Texture amusante mais c’est tous ! Ils ne fonctionnent pas ! J’entend toujours les bruits des voitures à l’extérieur alors que je suis éloigné de la route ! Funny past but that’s all! They don’t work ! I can still hear the car noise while I far from the road
