With the new Satori, Kona continues its tradition as a pioneer.The Kona Satori is a potent yet extremely effective 29 Trail-Fully, with a long main frame, a deep bottom bracket and a crisp, short rear end. The combination of 29" wheels, 140 mm travel up front and 130 mm travel on the rear offers a real all-mountain feeling on rough trails. A comparatively moderate steering angle and a short rear end ensure explosive dynamics and agility on every ride. But the highlight of the Kona Satori, without a doubt, is the cleverly designed central positioning of the rider. With its super-steep seat angle, Kona ensures balanced weight distribution for the downs and extremely efficient power transmission when pedalling - so the Satori will also beat lighter XC bikes uphill. On the rear wheel of its sturdy aluminium frame, the Fuse Suspension Platform takes 130 mm of travel out of the RockShox Deluxe RL Debon Air shock and manages to miss a pivot point on the rear end. This saves weight, wear and introduces extra stiffness to the short rear. In the main triangle of the Satori frame you'll find ample space for a large drinking bottle. Another noteworthy feature includes cleverly-positioned external cable guides that make maintenance work easier.
